Anyways, my 8gb nook is running the jichuan root and i downloaded Dead Space as an apk file, i was like because i thought it would work but the furthest it got to working was the screen that said EA with a circle, Anyone get this to work yet? :fingers-crossed:

what is this jichuan root? i have never seen it anywhere. please provide a link to it. As for your apk not working... there might be a license check issue or something.
btw this should probably be in the themes and apps section, but i'll let the mods decide that...

Well most of my apk's work. I've tried the sims 3 too but for some reason EA games arent working.

you should be able to find out the version by going into manage applications under settings->Applications.
just tap on the app itself and there should be a version number under the name of the app.
i am using 1.1.38 and it works fine with me.

Servers are dead, you will have to find another means of getting roms. Sorry folks
Rom finder still works I'll post the apk once someone tells me the biz on warez on apps that have been removed from market.

You sure man? You actually tried to download a game from it and it worked? Thats where the not working part comes in not the launching of the app itself.

I think were talking different apps. This is rom finder not gripper, it still works for my atrix and xoom. Backed up on gmail via the note to self command. Winning!
Edit: so back to my original question whats the business with warez and paid apps that are no longer android market supported? Once you give me the green light I'll post the apk. Until then I'll be downloading n64, gbc, psx, snes roms

Rom Fetcher is a good one. There is a RomFetcher: Playstation that I want to say includes Sega systems along with PS1, and then there is RomFetcher: Classic with NES, Gameboy, etc.
I think they go for about $1-2 each on the Android Market, and have been working perfectly for me.

Visit the Android market, find Netflix, then send it to your phone, installs over any leaked versions you may have had...viola, works perfectly
seems we've confirmed that if you're running Coredroid ROM above, you will be able to install Netflix and view everything perfectly from several users who have tried..no prop editing, no white screen, no problems with no video, etc
Not to mention, it's one of the best ROM's for the Glacier (minus the annoying video recording not working bug)

someone just posted on the Market.Android site that it worked on their Nexus One with CM on it.

Working on my girls Nexus One running CM7 but I get the audio for a few seconds & then kicks back out to the white screen on my Glacier running CM7
Confirmed on a 2nd device that if you install the CoreDroid DesireS port, it will indeed work just fine

i will not install anything made by Rafyvitto. He had the ban hammer swung on him from XDA. I'm not going to support him.

When I loaded it it loads my account, I can search, but movies would cut out while streaming. It could just be my bad data speeds right now.

on my atrix and i cant find it in the market from the atrix (used market enabler to no avail), i even tried from the above android market link to install it from there over the google account but it simply wouldnt install... so my question is if anyone has the app installed and/or if there is a method to install it manually? (im using it on a cyanogenmod 7.0.3 nook color without a problem...)

Try this Fix Permissions app.
caught me slipping there forgot to ask if he had restored a backup from Titanium or something, if so you can also fix permissions with root tools, recovery (i think) or using the app recommended by Wired.
no thers no titanium in game .... might be cuz im in Slovenia, but that shouldnt be a problem with market enabler than ... thanks for the help tho. uhm for instance i cant install this app:

I want that app too!! No, you wont be able to install Google Body on anything that doesnt run Honeycomb. Right now only a few tablets have HC. When Ice Cream Samach comes out it will be available on both phones and tablets; merging Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Your on Froyo. F G H I
Edit: what you need to do is sign in when your browsing the market through a browser. It will then let you know if the app is available on your device. THEN you will be able to download apps through the browser (if they "work" on your phone).

Hey, I have been with XDA for a few months and I have never encountered this before.
I was on this page HD Netflix App and i click one of the links to go download an app but it says i do not have permission. I have made at least 60 posts so its not like I am new.
Anyone have any idea why I can not access that page?

I'm trying to download the LockView Lockscreen app aswell in the UK. I tried market enabler and set the market to US T Mobile. However I still get a message saying 'This Item Cannot Be Installed In Your Country'. Ive cleared thr data/cache aswell couple of times. PlZ help????

Using root explorer or any other explorer go to /data/app and copy the apk file for any app you share and upload it here. (You must be rooted)

BTW: If its not available in your country then mail the developer. I mailed the developer and got a quick response that it will be available within 30 minutes and it was.
