how to edit stock themes on ICS?
i have to try for edit defaultthemes.apk and recompiled again but it's not working.if i go to setting>>display>>>themes i got the blackscreen...
help me if anyone know how do this...

thx, but i want STOCK theme with ICS animation...........not JPU with kyrillos' theme and not CM7............

it doesnt matter
just do the changes it says in your stock framework

There you go! this is stock framework with 9ls and ICS animation... I made it for my self few weeks ago.. anyways this is not a CWM zip!! u gonna have to install manually just put frameworks files into framework folder /system/framework/ and setting.apk in /system/app/
I'd suggest that you make backup first... So that if anything goes wrong u wont have to reflash or anything...

big icons or small icons?? thx anyway
why not just use one of the cm7 themes available on the android market? there's a really neat ics theme available which i'm using.

i dont like the mms.apk from creeds or any mms.apk from mdpi devices because it doesnt look good on my stock rom(dxkl2) im trying to mod for ldpi devices pls help need it very badly! tnx in advance
first decompile the apk and then u will find this folder

edit : agree with shocklads..u can find smali files with deodexed rom only.btw please ask question in FAQ section
U need Deodexed rom before Mod apk file to have smali folder

the log is from apk tool
the problem is at this time i am unable to get a recompiled apk..

Hello, first I don't really know if it is ok to ask in this forum, but I think its the best place to ask it, so I've wanted to change to a new rom awhile ago and im working on it now, I tryed to install a few JB roms but I really want them with the themes I have(my Systemui and so) but for some reason when I replace the Systemui.apk from the 1 I want with the one you get with the rom it doesn't work and just messes up the phone...
it used to work for me and now it doesn't, anyone knows why or a way to change it?
I really want a fast new rom but still use the design I like.

Indeed, I have now installed Fluidity v2(if you know this rom) and changing the systemui.apk worked there..
can anyone help me ...I need the stock aosp cm10 systemui.apk coz mine is modded and i cant find the apk file in google..btw my phone is hdpi thanks in advance
