phone.apk crashes when call is recieved, Help!!! - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
Im running stock samsung, but within the last couple of days my phone has started crashing phone.apk whenever I get a call. The caller will hear it ring twice, at which point the dialog pops up on my screen. The second I hit ok the caller gets the error tone.
Help me fix this please , or this phone is no phone at all.

Which firmware u use?Check out for firm updates or just flash new stock rom via Odin.

Yeah bit more detail please but as above check for updates under settings > about device > software update
Better still connect it to your pc and fire up kies and it will tell you if any updates are needed
I failed to get my first update OTA (on le8) had to use kies now on lf6
EDIT: just another quick thought aswell go to settings > application manager > all > find "Phone" and then "Clear Data"

There is no updates, and I am running pure stock rom, the UK BLG8. The error also existed on BLG3.
I do however suspect its one of the apps that has updated that is causing the issue >.<

Ahhh the very latest yeah I'm holding out for that till its abit more supported lf6 is good but not perfect have you got clockwork mod on it?
What kernel are you using aswell from what I've read its best to use stock

I also had the issue on LBG3 so I thought I might try the newer version and see if that helped and it didn't. Wants strange is that I can get and recieve texts fine, surf the net etc. I can even call people, but the second I get a call it crashes.

I have a logcat that I captured while I tried to dial the phone twice not sure if anyone could get it a read over and see what might be wrong?
