[Q] How do I use USB/Windows X360 Controller with my SXS? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

I am trying to use my USB X360 Controller on my SXS with a USB OTG cable but when I connect I get the famous power consumption error and them it disables, I tried a USB Y SPLITTER but idk if am connecting it right.
Does anybody know how to fix or disable this? Or another method to using a X360 Controller?

It's simple I just bought a externally powered ( optional) usb hub but I did not plug-in the power, I connected the OTG cable to my phone then the hub and finally connected the usb joystick on the hub
Works great no power issues just had a hub in center of connection between joystick and OTG of my phone
The hub was of this type

are this kind of this safe? I mean the electricity power might burn the microusb plug on your device for giving too much power, right?

Mod for TV out?

I know that SG2 is only supposed to do TV-out via samsungs proprietary cable and that TV out via headset output is not enabled. Is there a mod to enable it? I´ve tried the same nokia cable that used to work on GS1 and I could only get sound.
I just got an official samsung one from Ebay for $15 and it works perfectly. Sometimes it pays not to be cheap
Nah you can only use TV out through the micro USB port. I bought a generic adapter off eBay. AFAIK it is not possible through the headphone jack and no hack will make it work.

where is the setting for tv out?
how to connect to tv?
I´ve found a lot of regular USB to RCA cables on ebay, but I didn´t find any MICRO USB to RCA.
The GS2 has MICRO USB port, right? Or is it Mini?

ASUS Extension Kit - USB-adapter
My question was whether I can connect an external HDD without this adapter, but using female to female usb adapter or usb to mini usb.
they don't sell this adapter in my country yet (they started selling the prime about a month ago) and I wanna know if I can manage to connect it without this adapter.
Your cable proposal should work - the only thing is to try and keep the cable as short as possible. I think the USB spec. says something like the minimum transmission speed must be met with a 5m cable

[Q] How long is the charging cable for the S3?

The cable I have now for my current droid is only like 12-18inches long and its rather annoying. How long is the cable your S3 shipped with?
thanks in advance!!
Just over three feet .
I have a shorter 16 inch lead but that is to short .
jje
Not long enough. I had to use a different 1.5m USB cable because the original won't stretch from the plug to the table by my chair.
Can you use any standard usb to mini usb cable? I agree, it's too short :-(

I bought an OEM Samsung Wall charger for my GS2. I use that with my GS3. It's about 4 feet long.

Hi there.
Bought a "simple" USB to micro Usb adapter like this one but it doesn't work.
Is "the OTG cable" a special one ?

Thanks for answering.
Actually it seems some adapters are "OTG certified"... So next time i'll look at it.
After "a quick search on xda", shame on me, i didn't do it before...

Hello
You may know that mi 5 doesn't connect to Dual Shock whether wirelessly or wired

We need:
1)Rooted mi 5
2)Type-C OTG
3)Micro USB (not type-c) Cable
4)Dual Shock
5)Sixaxis Controller app on play store 2.49$
First Open Sixaxis Controller app & connect Ds4 via OTG
