Unable to download/update apps - Sony Tablet S

I am no longer able to download new apps or update installed apps from google play store (build 3.7.15). I can get the status bar that indicates a connection is being attempted, but I never get a download progress bar, and never any errors. The problem began about a week ago. I've tried clearing the play store cache, clearing data, and restoring to the factory version of play store, all with no success. No other connection problems (internet, email work fine). I'm currently running unrooted ICS 4.0.3. I'm completely at a loss, and appreciate any help!
UPDATE: After letting the download run overnight, I finally got an error 495. I've also tried clearing the cache and data from Download Manager, but still no luck.

Play store not showing purchased apps, Saying I need to re-buy them??

So I have AOKP on my galaxy nexus 4.0.4. I made a back up and installed there JB AOKP to try it out. Lasted about 1.5 hrs. Then I restored with my CWR Backup. I made this back up on June 30. After I restored there was 3 apps thats didnt saw I purchased them when I did on friday. I have google checkout to prove it. I used titanium to restore the 3 missing apps but now in the play store it dont show them under MY APPS. Only when I search for them it shows them. What could cause this and how do I fix it? Theres no way I should have to buy them all over again. The werid thing is titanium worked fine and showed purchased in the play store but the other 3 apps didnt. Maybe its because I purchased titanium yesterday right before the i flashed JB AOKP. The other 3 were on friday.

go to titanium, and fix the market link of the three apps
I couldnt find that as a option. titianm is not as simple as my back up pro.
not working. i go to menu then market tools then market auto updates and it find the 3 apps. but it still dont show in play store. i think im ging back to myback up pro. was 10 times easier to use.
just "buy" them again from market, you won't be charged a second time
Maybe.....

I know this is kinda old but every time I try to download an app that I've purchased it doesn't show up as being purchased, and prompts me to buy it again. I tried just buying one of them again just to see what would happen and it gave me an error message saying I already owned the app, but it would not install. I've tried clearing cache/data, I've tried clearing the cache/dalvik cache via TWRP, I've tried installing an older version of Google play, I've tried clearing the cache/data for Google play services, I've tried factory resetting my phone twice, I've tried remotely installing the apps through Google play on a computer (it just says an unexpected error has occurred) I've tried deleting my Google account from the device and signing back in, and absolutely nothing seems to work. I'm on a OnePlus 5 running OxygenOS 5.1.1 (Android version 8.1) and I'm rooted using Magisk. I'm gonna try wiping the phone and reflashing the OS later today so I'll let you know how that goes but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What worked for me with a similar issue was removing Google play store completely (with a root file manager or in twrp), reboot and then flash gapps again. After that the play store was working fine again.
P.s. the path to play store is /system/priv-app/phonesky
At least on my Android 8.1 device.

I just tried that, and when it didn't work I went through with re-flashing the operating system all together and I'm now running stock and it's STILL not working so I'm officially at a loss... Thank you for your suggestion though I actually hadn't thought of that.

[Q] Play Store Troubles: At My Wit's End

Running a Galaxy Nexus on Stock 4.1.1 (rooted).
Last week, Play Store randomly started giving me the DF-BPA-09 Error when I wanted to download new apps. Old apps would update fine. I searched XDA and found that turning Google Sync Off and restarting the phone solved it. It worked once or twice, but the problem kept coming back.
Then read another thread that said go to All Apps > Play Store >Uninstall Updates and Clear Data. I did this, and now when I start Play Store, it permenantly gives me 'Server Error', with a Retry Button below it.
I have Titanium Backup Pro, so tried restoring an older version, tried Freezing and Unfreezing the App, still not working.
Would appreciate any help.
tldr; DF-BPA-09 Error used to come, Cleared Play Store Data and now stuck at Server Error.

Your probably not gonna like this suggestion but a factory reset should do the trick, if you don't want to do that you could re-install the play store.

Hoping to leave that for a last resort. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling too. Think flashing the latest GApps would help?

Yeah id give flashing the latest GApps a try it's certainly worth a shot because that should give you the most up-to-date Play Store and hopefully replace the troublesome one you have right now.

[Q] Certain Apps unable to complete download through Play Store

Hi,
I have a problem downloading certain apps from Google Play Store. When I tries to start download it will get stuck at 'Downloading'. This only happens when im doing downloads through WiFi but do not happen over data network, AND, doesn't happen to every single apps. It's like 60:40 chances - 60 the app download will NOT start.
So far i've tried every single method i've googled on XDA, Google Help, and everywhere else including:
______________________________________________________________
Wiping Download Manager, Play Store, Google Services Framwork
Wiping Dalvik cache after wiping the above
Wiping cache partition in Recovery after wiping all of the above
Removed my Google account and redo all of the above then readding it
Factory reset my phone
Re-flashed my ROM
Re-flashed my ROM AFTER doing factory reset
Factory reset after Re-flashing
Doing everything above again.
_________________________________________
I have no idea what else I can do to fix this ****ty Play Store. I tried to create another google account too but still same problem.
I need help......
EDIT: i tried with other device using the same WiFi network with same result. Not my phone's problem. Google server probably.

[Q] Google Play Won't open on SG3 Sprint

About 10 days ago, Play store froze on my device, now it won't open. Every time I click the app, it disappears for a moment then I am returned to home screen. I have tried clearing cache, clearing data, uninstalling updates, installing different playstore .apk from websites in an attempt to overwrite what I assume to be a corrupted .apk file. All to no avail. Has anyone seen this happen and know if I have any hope of fixing this or if I have to do the dreaded reset??. BTW my device is not yet rooted. But if I have to reset, probably will root after.
Reset and root after then.

Keep getting rpc:s-7:aec-7 error on honeycomb

I keep getting rpc:s-7:aec-7 error with differend endings (for example: rs3s-jrmd-moptaj). I tried clearing data on play store and google services framework but nothing seems to be working. I also did factory reset both from the device and stock recvery. The device is Flyer p512 with 16 GB ROM. Rooting and installing custom rom is out of the question. It was fine when was bought but after doing factory reset it started and I can't resolve this.
I just had this happen to mine, and it turned out that Google Play Services was missing. I downloaded (using the tablet itself) and installed the APK, rebooted, and then I was able to download and update apps through the Play store. Hope this helps.
