Voicemail notification

Hi
I just bought a Galaxy S II and as soon as I put my Canadian Fido sim card
the voicemail notification appeared.
I tried different things but it does not want to go away.
I left a message to myself and then I listened it from my S II, I deleted it
and I press # to hung up but again nothing.
I removed my sim card and I inserted it again but nothing.
I erased everything on the phone and I set it up from scratch again nothing.
Finally I called Fido and I told them to reset my voicemail which they did
but again nothing.
As soon as I put my sim card to my motorola Atrix or my nexus one I dont get the voicemail indicator.
Has anyone faced this problem?
How do I remove the voicemail indicatior
Thanks
Simple answer: You can't.
You can turn the sound off of the notification but it's something sent from the carrier usually. Have you tried another SIM in the phone to see if it still stays there?
If not I'd say the first port of call -- as always -- is a factory reset.
I would have agreed with you but if my carrier where in this case Fido
keeps sending me the voicemail notification dont you think
I would have the notification to my motorola Atrix or Nexus one?
Also I called them up and they reset my voicemail
I did try a factory reset twice

[Q] No keypad tones during call - i9300 Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi all,
I´ve just changed networks on my UK international i9300 Samsung Galaxy S3 so I can use a H20 wireless (AT&T network) SIM.
I tried a few different modems via the GetRIL app, but couldn´t get any to match. I then used GalaxSim Unlock to unlock the phone. The IMEI was temporarily removed but I restored the original modem via GetRIL and it appeared to be unlocked still.
I can now dial with the phone but the only difference is the keypad tones fail to work during the call. When dialling, the numbers come up on screen correctly and make the normal keypad tones. The problem is during the call when an automated line will ask for numbers to be input. They will come onscreen but make no noise, so the other end considers I´ve not entered anything.
There are no settings available to alter, I´ve tried a reboot etc. but nothing has helped. Í´ve had a look on Google but I can´t see anyone else who´s had this problem. Any ideas?
P.S. It is possible the RIL/modem works for texts, calls but isn´t quite the right one to produce DTMF dial tones?

Secret codes doesn't work

Hi, when I try to dial the secret codes on my phone it doesn't work, I've tried all of them my phone simply doesn't respond to it. Any help?
I have a Verizon galaxy s3

[Q] Speed dial #1

I have scoured the I'net and can't seem to find anything about changing the voicemail access number assigned to #1 long press action to a different access number of a 3rd party app for voicemail.
Working on a Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 GT-i9152. I can't even access the current number because of using Google Voice. According to Google Voice, just call your provider and have them re-activate your voicemail. The geniuses at Straight Talk don't seem to know what that means.
Anyway, I got another 3rd party app and really like it. Problem is, there is one voicemail in the ST server and I can't delete since I cannot dial in. Not a big problem by any means, but a persistent nag. Does anybody have any suggestions? Any help would be great!

Voice call LTE tablet

Hey,
I am using an ATT Sim in the Verizon tablet. However I am not able send or receive messages/calls. Tried different dialers and message apps. Is there anything I need to enable for this?
Thanks in advance .
Your sim card has to be provisioned to tablet. I tried the same with an older tablet and couldnt get anything to work. You'll have to call att. I had tried all of the things you mentioned as well
I dropped my SIM into a T715 with Lineage 16 on it and both Google Message and Facebook Messenger worked fine with both SMS and MMS. Didn't try the phone aspect.
Tried same thing on Verizon 827 and it won't let me past "Do you want to change default SMS app."
