I've just got a Samsung 10.1 and have popped on the CM10 mod (v nice), and gapps-jb-20120717. I've looked and am confused about Gapps - can anyone tell me what apps this should install ? I have play store, music, but was anticipating maps etc ? Does anywhere list what apps are in what Gapps.

sorry for the inconvenience, i'm going to buy the Novo 7 aurora and i have some question want you please answer it for me
1-Does it have gps and bluetooth ? and if it haven't can i add an external bluetooth or gps device ?
2-Does it supports all android applications or some apps doesn't work in it ?
3-Does it have ( pre-installed ) in it google apps like android market, G-mail, Google maps, Google voice,.... etc which very important in android ?
4-Does it support Apk files and installing them through the tablet or i should install them from the PC ?
5-Can i add external USB (bluetooth or GPS ) to it ?
6-What is the disadvantages of this tablet
7-Can i check the updates on it and install the newer android ics 4.0.3 or i have to install from the pc ?
8-If i have an android device like galaxy s2 or sensation ... etc , do i'll notice that the aurora is not like them in the software , what i mean if i have the
aurora , do i feel that i've full android device or not ?

some says 4.0.3 has google apps; if not you can install it by script

Dear folks here at XDA,
I've got a tiny problem/question... I flashed a CM9 ROM on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7500) and installed the GAPPS after that, as soon a I installed Gmail from the Play Store I got 2 widgets in my appdrawer.. 1 labelled "Google Mail" and 1 labelled "Gmail" both being the exact same widget...
...My question is: "how do I remove 1 of these widgets (without having to install a new ROM)?" I think the problem has something to do with the GAPPS, but I don't know which file is responsible for the problem...
So please help me out here, THNX in advance!

Actually I am running the rom above on a samsung galaxy s2 and everything works fine.
but now i am searching for a way to remove the google search bar ...
seems to be hardcoded (the position in the theme)
does anybody know, how to do it?

Maybe another launcher? Or launcher options? Or just use search....? U have a google powered device but aint using it. Oh and wrong forum mate, there is a q&a forum for such matters!

but.....
when i was testing the new build, i have found a problem
i can't play any video "including videos on youtube , browser , gallary and videos player"!!!!
is that problem from me or the it's a mistake from the developers?
and if it was a mistake, can i fix it manualy or i have to wait the new update

Hi XDA! I need your help with this trouble:
- My friend has an n7000 clone (chinese XD), he want to install Play Store, so leave that work for me. After installing Play Store all went OK, but when open apps like Message. Phone or Contacts it give a FC telling that is not authorized... So, I looked at apps and all of them are from Samsung, I copy these apps from an other phone, now all open ok, but when I want to call to some number give me a FC (com.android.phone stopped). Sorry for very bad english, I leave some pictures from the clone, if someone have a firmware or rom to install please let me know! I will test differs phone.apk searching for one working...
