I didn't realize that this was from evervolv. You may want to specify that in your post or on your video description.
I'm not allowed to post this in the Development section and I have a Captcha to deal with..........................................
But I read that Jelly bean is "Faster" but is this not because most features on the TP are not working right now?

Jelly Bean is a faster ROM with all feutures working, but that currently is not the case. HW acceleration does not work, and that is a big function to obtain the use of project butter. CM9 is still faster currently. Those that believe the unofficial cm10 update is faster are currently under a "placebo effect". In other words, they want the experience so bad that they truly believe they are having a "faster" UI experience. If you keep an unbiased opinion and try out both you will see CM9 is much faster (and stable). Although, once HW is implemented, this will be another story and made irrelevant.

Cm9 is becoming pretty polished with just the camera as a major issue, the TP even charges from most sources now unlike WEBOS needing original adaptor
All in all with ICS still being new for mainstream I'm happy

CM9 is currently under development, although it almost has no major issues (only camera) it's still better to use cm7 as of now. Kabayan! ^.^

Has evil_penguin said for the moment cm9 is on development but the port made by Maclaw and his team are really stable (some force close of course sometime but it's a beta so it's normal ). For me the big different for the moment between cm7 and cm9 it's just the camera who does not work for the moment in cm9. But if you want more details just go here===>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1490867. Hope i help you

hmm...
cm9 available?
For me, cm7 is stable because for example camera and radio works (in cm9 currently don't work). But i think cm9 looks better. if you don't use camera and radio, install cm9.

For my part it's cm9 beta5 from Maclaw and his team but i don't really understand what is "better" for you if it's the stabilty and all fonctionnality work so it's cm7 but cm9 look really great but still in beta so it's sure it will be less stable and some function are missing (camera is the big one for the moment). It's all about how you use your phone if you use a lot your camera if you want to have a smooth surf on the net...etc. I use cm9 and i'm really happy with it just wait a little and cm9 will have all the functionality work
*Sorry for my imperfect english
Maclaw's CM9 is smoother than GB and CM7.... Only Camera is the main problem!
The performance of CM9 forced me to use it... Lol

I'm using CM7 atm, I like it. It's clean and fast.
CM9 is one of the most desirable roms now a days as it is ice creams sandwitch. but the main issue right now is the camera and it is still in the development stage(Beta). So, if you can manage w/o using your camera on your phone you can go for CM9 other wise CM7
how about radio in the CM9 ?
I'm not fond of cm9 as its lack of compatibility. Bleeding edge rom

Right..certain apps are not compatible with ICS. But gradually they will be....with time.Happens with every new OS upgrade.
+1 for CM9..i'm using it now. beta 6 is very smooth with 4.0.4 version.
now just waiting for camera fix and 3.x kernel
go for the CM7 coz its more stable and everthing i mean everthing works like charm , while CM9 still in devolopedment and there are some issues and might not be good for daily use
Stable? Go for CM7.
Forget CM9. Forget it. At least for now

Ice Cream Zenwich is your answer....there's no more on xda but on rootzwiki....and here's the link: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/21742-ro...mmer-of-buddha-5-26-12-deficient-development/
Enjoy!
Thats a personal preference answer. BUT, i prefer ICZenwich also. i actually go back and forth between ICZ, AOKP, and Gummy. I dont have a problem with passion, it was my first ICS, but there was a point where there were way too many test updates going on. i could never get GPS to work except for on one particular release with a certain kernel but it ended up being outdated. but i still kept the files though. It has been a while but maybe i will try passion again
CM9 nightlies seem to be doing well right now! Maybe try those, they have no bugs.

Wouldn't say NO bugs but any ICS ROM bug exists between ALL variants.
CM9 has bugs--->AOKP is based on CM9 so AOKP has bugs ---> MIUI is based on CM9 so MIUI has bugs

Amazing!!
I've been running it for a couple of weeks now and it's both fast and stable. I personally think it's the best out there. And the Amora rom installer is awesome.

Agreed, loving chimera with platypus kernel and great battery life. Videos do not work on sub zero kernel FYI. The aroma installer is pretty sick, very easy to install.

Not true, 720p video playback works flawlessly for me on subZero #80. However, I believe MP's latest build (#128) may require an add-on fix for it to work properly with BIGMEM enabled... You know what, I'm gonna go install the latest subZero right now and post back here on what I find.

Ice Cream Zenwich
ICZen just rolled out with a new version yesterday that was compiled with the Linaro toolchain...I'm excited to see the effects ^^ (Today will be my first day running it)...but I can say confidently that based on my experience across the different ICS roms....Br1cK'd's Zen is always phenomenal.

I agree, completely with him. But, oh well.
For HoneyComb, I've always preferred Galaxy Task 14. Its fast, stable, smooth, and it feels great. But if you're looking for a non-touchwized HC version I suggest Clean Rom. You'll need honeycomb for now if you want camera support, no ICS/JB ROMs support camera until Sammy' decides to cough up the source/drivers.
For ICS it really depends. CM9 nightly builds are great, but I've always gone back to AOKP nightlies/milestones after a CM9 flash. I feel AOKP has a quicker, snappier feel to it. Plus, AOKP is highly customizable. I suggest Milestone 6.
For JB theres just one port, but this really isn't for the faint of heart since wifi, sound, and the camera do not work at all. This is highly experimental and you really should go here if you're looking for a daily driver, but it is really smooth.
Overall, I suggest AOKP M6 its really smooth, and its ICS. The only down side is the camera issue.
With the ease of flashing these ROM's it would be beneficial to test each one and see what you think offers you the best stability, response, and works with whichever apps you use.
I have been playing with Scott's CleanROM 2.0 and Task650's Task14 slim. I am currently on Task's ROM and using Pershoots kernel. I honestly like both ROM's thus far.... going to test out Bindroid next.
Those roms task14 and clean are for wifi only he has p7500 use bindroid for honey comb or cyanogennod9 for ics.. I'd recommend cm9 look for it in cm9 Site as p4 with no variants but p4

Wait for stable Jelly Bean Rom
I have tested JB ROM. Still its to early to comment but its buttery smooth and lightning fast. After a stable rom comes. It would be way better then ICS or honeycomb.
Test and explore different Roms and decide for yourself. I settled on Task's Slim 14.

I don't see why that has to be the case, provided people can stay mature and polite to one another.
If the thread descends into flaming then of course it'll be locked but in the mean time, I see no reason not to give it a fair chance.

Hey guys, this thread will be used to share peoples ways and how they fix some problem in CM10.
Well heres mine, I managed to fix super user remembering problems by installing SuperSU.
What about you?
Also anyone can tell me how to change the speaker to loud speaker? Since Maclaw said loudspeaker is working. Can anyone tell me. And confirm that my super user guide worked?
i was not satisfied with CM9 and hence i am using apocalypse rom (superb performance). Is cm10 better than cm9??? hows the battery performance/ stability? hangs?? is camera working??

Woah woah.....!!!
Stop right there my dear friend!!
The CM10 is still in alpha stage! Remember that!
Anyway, the alpha stage is smoother than Cm9 due to project butter, stable enough, deep sleep works for some users only and you cant expect camera yet and you know that!

if you're talking about epinter's cm10, it already comes with its modified kernel. you dont have to do any kernel stuff, just follow instructions.

Thanks. I'll stick with the whole functional CM7 until a more stable CM10 is released.
I think Epinter's cm10 works almost perfect as a daily drive if you don't care much about playing game because of lack of hwa. A new kernel is under development by some dedicated devs and it probably takes about 2-3 months to get done (i guess ).
Is there any video hardware acceleration support (2D/3D HW) with any ICS/JB rom? or is it broken due to the non-provision of drivers and stuff?
