Is it possible to dual boot both of these, or would I need separate kernels?

Yes it appears to be possible. Read through the thread on the dream kernel, which is a modified Siyah kernel, and people are dual booting ics and jb. The only issue is the cm10 siyah kernel is not mic swapped yet (an easy fix if you compile it yourself). At this point if that's not up your alley I would just switch to the Dream kernel to dual boot cm9/cm10.
I wanted to add my experience in here. it's now possible to do dual boot CM9 & CM10 with Siyah 3.5.2 (that the latest version of 29Th July)
I'm just running it now on my S2 and it works perfectly.

Yes it is possible. I am using Dream kernel and have RootBox ICS as main ROM and RootBox JB as my secondary ROM.

I think dualboot is not yet possible on ICS and the dualboot option on siyah kernels are for future use for more info check this forum:

Cheers!
Title said it. I want to try out the new CM10 builds for the S2, but I still want to keep my stable CM9+Siyah build running in case the new ROM has some problems. Went to the Siyah kernel dual boot guide thread, and it's stated there that one can only dual boot 2 ICS ROMs. That means no ICS+GB... but is ICS+JB possible?
By the way, yes I did do a search before asking and found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800866 where a method is proposed, but it requires switching to another kernel and I'd like to stick to Siyah.
Current configuration: CM9 RC2, Siyah v3.4.

cooool! thanks for the info, nice question by the way to the OP
try dorimanx kernel!
kernel doesnt matter u can run ics and jb with nearly any kernel also doing it
Yea you can dual boot with JB and ICS, just not GB.
I know we can set up dual boot using Siyah kernel but this time I want to know can I flash a JellyBam ROM as secondary while using CM9 stable for my GT-I9100?
What is the process to install the secondary ROM without messing with my primary ROM as there is a lot of data on it.

I checked on Siyah kernel's official site but there is no mention about JellyBam ROM. Gokahn has just told about JB+ICS nothing else more much could be helpful for me.
I have read guides for dual boot but they are so simple as I'm looking for but yeah I can manage. I'm looking for a simple guide if anyone can refer or post for me.
One more question how can I increase charging speed of SGS2 using Siyah kernel?
how to make dual boot roms on international s3
You cant make a dual boot rom. But there are dual boot kernels which you flash yourself and then can install a second rom aswell. I dont know which kernels do this but there is one or 2

I advise you to install Siyah kernel 1.9 it's let you combine 2 rom's personnaly I installed in First Rom a Samsung based rom like WanamLite; and in the second rom I install the latest CM 10.1 it work perfectly . however I still have issue after changing from the WanamLite Rom to the latest Omega 44.4.
My phone crashes after the first Boot. I'm working on it

hey guys, just signed up so please excuse my ignorance if this has been answered, redirected previously.
ive been using slimbean as my daily driver and love it without any problems. but for work i require something with slightly better battery management hence through my research it seems like 'ressurection remix' rom would be a good bet.
i currently use a s2 i9100 and wish to dual boot slimbean (as main) and ressurection remix (as secondary).
i understand siyahs latest kernel has issues with dual booting so with perhaps the older one 'SiyahKernel S2-v5.0.1', my question would this be possible ?
or perhaps a different kernel... again.. this is new to me and i would appreciate any direction or advice. i appreciate dual booting is always under construction...
thank you..

(would prefer a response before i start flashing stuffs, please dont question the why but i am seeking the howto)
unsucessfull
flashed siyahs latest beta kernel following the instructions....
flashed kernel.
booted cwm
setup second rom
installed second rom
reboot
home key, selected second rom... blank screen.
not working for me. ( if that had of worked i was going to swap first and second roms because after installing the siyahs kernel slimbean failed to boot. (blank screen after siyahs logo).
will try previous version..... i believe if this fails i will have to wait for siyah to 'fix' dualboot as is said in his latest beta. please correct me if i am wrong.
To be able to boot 4.2 and 4.3 you need dorimanx kernel. That would be 9.xx version. For JB 412 you need 8.4x version. Dorimanx is the kernel to use IF you dualboot newer Roms.

first flash siyah latest v6.0b5 and then flash the latest dorimanx kernel using the cwm.
Dorimanx is the best bet and would easily dual boot the roms you mentioned
Flash the latest dorimanx kernel v9.43 and you wil be good to go
Gud luck mate
awesome kernel
guys. dorimanx kernel worked perfect. flashed it, booted it.... installed resurrection as second rom.... thank you so much.
