Hi people, I've unlocked the BootLoader following 9Lukas5's instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087)
And now I don't have radio anymore.
I checked first with the s1tool and it said "SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE". I've used the correct bat file and it said that it was unlocked successfully.
It was unlocked because I could install the latest Doom's kernel and Wolf's rom. But I didn't have radio.
I've been searching through the threads looking for answers, but all the methods people suggested, didn't work.
What I've tried: re-locking the bootloader and restauring the phone with seus (still no radio), unlocking again and trying several kernels, basebands and roms (versions 2.1 and 2.3, but still no radio).
Any tips?
Im on the exact same page searched a ton of times this forum and the net and no solution seems to work
Do u know how to check the status of your bootloader?
Sent from my X10S using XDA
I don't think so. How do I do that?
Type *#*#7378423#*#*, go to software info, look at your s1boot version (it will be an r and some numbers) if the r is uppercase (R) it is still locked. If it's a lower case r it has been unlocked

It has an R..
So the bootloader isn't unlocked? Then how can I use Doom's kernel?
Solution found thanks to all of you guys.
First, use pc companion from sony to restore the mobile. (easy)
Then enable usb debug in the apps menu and with flash tools root the phone, it will restart.
Then with flashtools install the xrecovery (easy)
Again with flashtools in the plugins menu select unlock bootloader and run. Phone will restart a few times, do not unplug usb cable (i was unplugin after the first reboot) and it shall be done
Is it doomkernel for locked bootloader?

repair with pc companion or seus did not help me...tried to relock BL, repair with pc companion and unlock BL but the problem still here.
it is antenna problem or software problem?
Hi,
I have an Xperia P device on my desk (LT22i) which seems to be locked (the service screen says so).
Can anyone tell how to go about unlocking and/or rooting this device with a custom rom?
Can it even be done for this particular model (LT22i)?
I am using Windows 7...tried the FastBoot method but Windows 7 refuses to load the FastBoot USB driver, instead installing something called SMC USB Disk Drive Driver.
Any help appreciated.

Hi,
In first, sorry for bad Eng! I have a Xperia from my friend. He wanted to install better ROM on his phone. As i read, bootloader in different mobile operators is permanently locked... That was on this phone from T-Mobile (im from Poland). But I took the directions on the website of Sony and took the unlock code. When I entered it, as they posted it in their site, I saw that BL is UNLOCKED.
And now I have a question: Can I brick phone if I will start to install ROM? Phone got root access, unlocked simlock (it was when I was unlocking bootloader), installed CWM...
Thanks a lot for any help!

You simply have an unlocked device... What could happen? My friend also has Xperia P from t-Mobile and I checked, he has no simlock or other restrictions. I guess, if you follow advices in the topics about flashing etc. your device won't get hurt.
mine Too
i have a xperia p LT22i
with bootloader unlock NOT ALLOWED
And No sim-lock
I asked Sony's suppport team to do something to make my phone Unlockable
Right now you can't do anything because the fastboot mode is not working
you can't flash a custom kernel
you can't unlock the boot loader
because the fastboot is disabled
like my F** Xperia P
I recently tried rooting my Sony Xperia M. The rooting process was successful but I soft bricked my phone when trying to unlock the bootloader following the instructions on SONY's site: (developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader)( I am posting the link this way as external links are not allowed currently) The instructions were confusing and unclear. I still haven't been able to understand the instructions, especially the part where it says to plug the device in flashboot mode after which it will ask where to install the driver(Such a driver installation request never came up for me). So I installed flash tool from a link I found in this site and installed the drivers (I had also downloaded the sdk package given in the instructions in SONY'S site). But after I ran the commands in cmd, the phone never rebooted(it was stuck in a boot-loop). So I took it to the service centre and now it's in the unrooted form. I really wish to install the custom fw but I dont wanna brick it again. Clear instructions for unlocking the bootloader would be highly helpful. (btw I am using windows 8 on my PC)
