Hi there!
I am running CM 7.1.0 on my Galaxy 5. I uninstalled the theme chooser app by using root uninstaller. Now I want it back. I tried to install a theme chooser apk downloaded from 4shared but it is returning the error "Apllication not installed." Please help me installing the app.
My Phone Specs:
Samsung Galaxy 5 GT-I5500
ROM: 2.3.7 CyanogenMod-7.1.0-MADTEAM
Buil Number: full_galaxy5-eng 2.3.7 GINGERBEAD eng.conn.20111106.231615 test-keys
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-perf [email protected]))
Baseband: I5500XWJP3
Recovery: ClockworkMod
Well I solved it myself by transferring ThemeChooser.apk and ThemeManager.apk from /system/app folder of my Wildfire to the same folder of my Galaxy 5. :victory:
Just a note here.
If you uninstall any app/file from CM ROM unknowingly, U can just go into CWM and flash the ROM+GAPPS without wipe to get things sorted..
Just said it because everybody might not have another running CM ROM

So Android 4.3 camera doesn't work on my 4.2.2.
I discovered that they are the same apps but in other version, both apps use the same install directory, so the result is an install error. (sorry for my english...)
Can you Help me?
THANKS.

Hi! I'm new to this thread, and I want to ask few questions about installing a CWM Recovery for my Xperia x10 so that I could install CM 10 (JB).
- Is it possible to install a CWM Recovery via xRecovery?
- What alternatives can I do in order to install CWM Recovery?
I am running on CM7, Android Version 2.3.5, Kernel version 2.6.29-00054-g5f01537 [email protected] #1
Thank you so much for very quick replies!
*Update: I can't boot my xRecovery all of a sudden, and some posts here won't work with my situation.
