Having Issues?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Have you tested this after a full wipe before restoring any old backups?
Have you checked the MD5 sum of the downloaded package file to make sure that it is ok?
Many issues is coursed by an defective keyboard controller. Please eliminate this possibility before posting questions. Also make sure to grab and attach useful logs as no one can help just based on a short title like "my phone does not boot". Most people will not even respond to such a post.
Not working
Video Recording (JB, ICS)
Camera (JB, Partially works, but might produce soft reboot)
USB Tethering (JB)
Video Hardware Decoding (JB, ICS)
TreBuchet Launcher (JB)
Attention
Do NOT setup your sdcard (Fat32) partition using CWM Recovery. This will produce a lot of different problems along the way do to a bug in the recovery. Use 4EXT Recovery instead
The sd-ext partition should be no more than max 1.5GB in size. More than this can produce issues
If Disk Manager (UI) writes warning or error, attend to the log file <Internal data>/diskManager.log. There will be an UI log viewer in one of the fallowing releases.

Thanks for the compound releases Though ICS has moved from the old thread but now it is re hauled. Good to see you doing this.
ICS I personally feel not optimum on our N1, therefore I'll definitely be trying and testing the JB to experience the buttery and yummy UI
dk_zero-cool, Keep it up well done.

OMG!!! Thanks DK, I will try JB

Just make sure to include disk manager and keep it at defaults during install, you can always change it later. JB takes up a LOT of space for the dalvik-caches. I have 147mb data and had below 5mb left without sd-ext on data with minimal applications selected in Aroma. After dalvik-cache has been build, disk managers safe guard will make sure that you don't move something that is to big to be moved.
Also note that JB takes 5 times longer to boot after full wipe than ICS, so be very patient.
And yes, gapps are included as always

Well, installed it, works good ! Thanks !

finally i patitioned hboot in 220/16/200. thanks a lot DK

shortcut keys touch screen doesnt work, none of the 4 are responsive. Anybody have this problem on JB? thanks

I use the Texasice's partition size recommended for Jelly Bean which is 260/8/168. Should I change it (use 220/16/200 like ICS for example) or is this ok?

It works on 260 8 168. Using that right now works fine. No lags after after heavy uses of browser, used to experience that from other roms. This rom is very smooth.
Great job dk.

I have that problem too.

Thank you for your hard work on this!
So still no one has video recording working on ICS for Nexus One? There are no hacks to get it to work or anything? Disappointing that ICS came out almost a year ago, and we still don't have a fully working version for the Nexus One.

Trying ICS now.

Yes, keys definitely don't work. This has amazing potential though....buttery smooth so far....are these adreno drivers flashable separately?

In the attention sectoin you said SD memory partion should not be fat 32 !? or should not be larger thant 1.5 GB
I use 4EXT recovery. But my memory is a one partiotion Fat32 and it's 8 GB. I have installed cm9 !
should I change it to 1.5 GB and 5.5GB ?
both of them should not be Fat32 ?
How about swap partition ?
can anyone explain a bit !

Read the page again. It does not say no Fat32. It says "Do not format/create this from CWM".

how about the n-trig pen, any ideas about how to fix that?
-----------------------------------------------------------------EDIT
This is just an idea, but we could maybe use some of the libs from the galaxy note, as far as i know it also have an N-Trig screen/pen, and it have gotten ics officially so maybe there is some drivers there?
if we even could get the gt-7003 libs, dunno if it recieved ICS yet but it even shares the same CPU as our flyer does
-----------------------------------------------------------------EDIT2
i checked a bit, can't seem to find anything for the gt-n7003, but found out that the galaxy note i717 AT&T have an Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon dualcore cpu, maybe we could port or use something from there?
again i don't know a hell lot about development and porting, but i hope it can help

What we could do is get the drivers from the Lenovo TPT ICS build, but it would require modifications in the kernel to get it to recognize the touchscreen as an HID:

damn it, i just thought i read somewhere that it also was n-trig, oh well, anyway, couldn't find any firmware for the n7003, found out it was only released in south africa, and even on sammy's own site there was no entry for n7003, and if i ever would have found it, i guess samsung would have let it out in the cold, and not gift it with tasty ICS :/

I wanted to upload the semi-working rom, but Dropbox gives a error. So, I'll try again tomorrow afternoon (have to study in the morning)
Also, changed the ROM to a Alpha as everything needs more fixing.

lcd density
If i set density to 160 (preset is 240) after reboot i get black screen, seams to turn one as device but the screen is black/off. I had to reflash rom and never touch density settings again. With out lower density i can't enable dual panel (witch seams to work ok) because everything is so BIG..

Thanks! I didnt know miui.us has a JB build for N1!
I can tell the CPU in N1 trying very hard when it runs multiple modern apps at once (eg, Google Map + Nav) , response are always slow, but just have to wait and it will eventually load. I switched back to my N1 because my Gnex is in factory repairing after 4 months of use. I was quite impress N1 is still kind of capable to run JB! Too sad I dont think any modern phone has the quality in N1 anymore, which served me for almost 3 years with constant rom update!
Thanks for the hard work of all the developer!:good:

Thanks!
After installing a2sd I am having a lot of "sleeps of death". I have set up it with app and app data in sd-ext and dalvik in internal, as always. Is that correct?
I have a probleeeem!! It is an old one I guess, but it is really severe in my case.
During a phone call people an the other line can NOT hear me. I hear them fine but they don`t. And it is like this for a day now.
Do you have a solution? Please heeeeelp, I need my phone to work. It is important.
I really hope someone has a solution for this!
Same thing on CM10.

This ROM has taken me about 90 hours (!!!) over three (or so) weeks to develop. 95% of it is my original work - it was quite difficult because MIUI-GB is based on CM7 but this is stock-based. If you enjoy it I really appreciate the donations so I can keep putting time into Xperia 2011 series

It's the truth Turbo Kernel is mainly so we can multiboot and uses latest FXP graphics code for Jellybean to work, which unfortunately makes GB a little slower. It's still better than JB for 3D gaming, but needs an overclock to get a stock-like experience. LuPuS GB is supreme for heavy gaming.

Odd, I have full service
Try to send me a full logcat, from boot. Keep logcat running until you enter the phone - then enable Flight Mode, then disable it again - then stop logcat.

I tried a million times to get logcat from initial boot but failed. here's the log while phone was booted and the airplane mode on/off. My xperia play is an AT&T phone but I use a straighttalk sim. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've wiped everything and re-installed and still no service. hope this helps any way.
Can anybody else say if service is working or not for them? Also list your model and baseband.
Me:
Working fine, R800a - whatever the baseband is from .62 FTF.

The Line Endings are borked in that log file, I can't read that lol. Make sure you pipe it straight out to a text file and don't edit it before uploading.
Code:
adb logcat > logcat.txt
Add it to a ZIP before uploading, incase it's the XDA site or my Firefox browser messing it.
To get a logcat from boot, do the logcat command with the device unplugged (will say "Waiting for device"). Then reboot phone, wait for the ROM boot logo to appear after kernel logo, *then* insert USB.

I don't know yet. It relies on some native methods that only exist in stock firmware (code inside the lib files). If I can replicate/reverse engineer them, or simulate them from scratch, then yes. I will write a new touchpad/gamepad fix that can be applied direct to source builds or via a ZIP patch.
But I won't be able to start work on it until after I get my Linux machine repaired.
I don't have any service either. Installed in slots 2 with wipe before. R800i
Looks absolutely beautiful Dan =)

You didn't tell me your baseband version.
I just did a factory reset, and I still have coverage and can make calls fine! So I still need a logcat from boot.
Please tell me also what kernel you are using. Me:
R800a, Turbo Kernel v3.1, Baseband 64 (baseband = last two digits in Settings > About > Baseband version)
Ooofft... I've got to admit I've also been looking forward to this.
When you get a moment Dan, could you provide a few more screenshots please? I.e. For the launcher/app drawer? Or someone else who has the ROM installed... Doesn't have to be Dan. ><

How to set up A2SD
Requirements: 512MB EXT4 Partition ( 1024MB Recommended )
Do you have an EXT3 partition? download the fix from the attachments and flash it after you've flashed the ROM! Else it will not work!
1. Do all the steps from the installation, if you've done all that, please don't install apps.
2. open app scroller, and open terminal emulator
3. type su and hit enter ( accept if Superuser prompts up )
4. Click the menu button on your device, and click show keyboard.
5. type a2sd install and hit enter
6. type y , type n , type y ( When it asks for it )
7. Auto reboot!
8. At the first boot it will be really slow ; can take up to 15 minutes.
9. After that, don't be afraid, all the apps have to load 1/2 minutes. ( that's why they don't show up in the app drawer.)
10. Done!
Please look through the thread before asking questions, Thanks.

Installation went smooth, nothing problem... boot up was fast, enter SIM pin code and able to play around with the ROM... Then I install a2sd as per instruction, it reboot and after that it didn't ask for SIM pin code, no mobile network access. After the screen turn off, turn it on back then only it ask for SIM pin code. Now trying to restore back my apps, let see how it happen after this. That's the only problem I did face, didn't ask for SIM pin code when it boot up, need to turn off the screen and turn on back. Thanks! ROM was good. Good job man! Love to try new ROM!
Try to reboot, now facing same issue... the sim pin code menu didn't come out, off the phone, on back... still didn't come...
Super smooth. Thanks!

The only existing issue that I am aware of now is the trackball light. Does anyone have a fix for this?
A couple things I have found, the desktop dock isn't working. (One of these things: )
Also, more of a question for other users than a problem, but should the trackball act like it does on other N1 roms (as a dpad) or act like it does on here as a mouse?

What exactly does the desktop dock do? Is it a wireless charger? I can probably get it to work by playing around with some libs.
