Cyanogenmod 10
JZO54K
This is a build 100% based off Entropy512's fantastic work found here. Builds are made straight from the latest CM, THS & TheMuppets github repositories.
CM10 is still in early development. In Entropy512's own words: "You want to live on the bleeding edge, you're probably gonna get cut"
Visit his CM10 user thread first to read up
Check BBQLogs for some good general (read: not i777 specific) reference on CM10 changelogs: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#galaxys2/cm10/next
Usual disclaimers apply. I am not responsible for anything that occurs after flashing this ROM, including but not limited to:
- Spontaneous wetting of oneself
- Plastic in your underwear melting
- Increased popularity
Instructions
1. Enter CWM.
2. flash both the ROM and gapps
3. full wipe if coming from anything other than CM10
4. Reboot and dance the happy dance
Note: this is a native kang, not a ported ROM.

gapps download link: http://goo.im/devs/Fusion777/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
Working:
ROM is pretty much fully functional, including:
Calls / MMS, BT Stereo Audio & Tethering, WiFI Tethering, Themes,NFC including Tapp functionality, Torch Toggle, MTP/Mass Storage mode
Glitchy:
* memory leak may motivate you to reboot every day or so
* Gallery doesn't sync with Picasa web
Special to this kang:
- 5Ghz Wi-Fi patch
- Meticulously clean and human-reviewed build environment
Extra Info
This ROM is the same as the nightlies, except for above changes & that I test it on my own phone before publishing. That said, numerous people suggest this Kang has a more reliable feel to it than the nightlies.
If you enjoy this ROM, don't forget to stop by Entropy512's user thread and share the love

True story. I personally dig having the newer 'minor' stuff. To each their own
May be a stupid question but when I click on the BBQ changelog then click on downloads. It says its for CM9?? Just wondering if they didnt change it to CM10? Thanks for doing this. Im going to give this a shot. Think I will hold off on this. Just checked the downloads again. One says galaxy s2 and the one underneath it says galaxy s2 att? I see the att one is cm7? Would like a little more info. Better to be safe than sorry!! Thanks.
Thank you for a more up to date version.
Edit: Going to flash now, dl speed for the gapps was low.
Is there a specific change log?
Sent from my SGH-I777
Thanks for doing this.. a lot of people have been itching for the newest..including me
The BBQ log site is definitely a little wonky you have to keep selecting 'cm10'. Don't let the change logs mislead you, this is definitely an i777 build with additional i777 updates by teamhacksung, the bbqlogs don't reflect this.
I'm looking for a more appropriate composite change log for our devices and will update OP when I find it.
The gerrit one http://review.cyanogenmod.com is fairly well organized but again not filtered by our device.

As stated in OP: "No customization, cherry picks, mods, etc. Just pure i777 CM10 goodness"
Right now your best bet is browse the github changelogs repo by repo. Presently looking for a better aggregating changelog source. But don't hold your breath

Google CM10 and you'll have your screen shots. Its a stock looking rom. You can picture it in your head.
Is anyone having a brightness issue? My brightness is about 50%, no auto. Anyways, is is a lot brighter on the home screen and when you go to an app the brightness is lower? To proof this, when you go to the home screen, and go to the recent apps the brightness is normal in the windows of the apps

just out of curiosity, what makes this rom different from cynogen?
I've been watching this develop over in the Fascinate General thread for a while... I'm pumped this has finally come to fruition! Great job man.
WOW r2DoesInc, good to see you guys here, Ive been runing OMFGB on my Tbolt for a week now, it freaking flies! Now I can put it on my girl's fascinate WOOTT! Thank you for your hard work.
If I wasn't heading to work in an hour I would flash this in a heart beat. I guess I'll wait until I get home to test this out. Also I'm a metro pcs user and I'm curious if this will have data. *begins full backups of everything in preparation*

Humm... I must be retarded. I cant find the download link. There is nothing in the fascinatemtd folder and there is nothing on your website.
So the download link isn't in the FascinateMTD?
If you look in the general section, you can find the first build I dropped, but this is for nightlies, which will being in a few hours.

It's going to be a few hours before the ROM is dropped. Read up top.
Side note: Assuming we will be going back to DL09 and doing all this crazy MTD flashing again? Hopefully there will be some instructions for those new to OMFG Roms.
Google Alps can be downloaded and flashed from the god mode appear in the rom.
Install instructions are in the second post....

It's great to see this pop up in the Fascinate forums. I hope you guys keep up the dev work by taking some bug reports and sharing the device specific fixes with the rest of the crew should you come across them.
When would you suggest flashing the GAPPS? After flashing OMFGB package or after you flash the CM7 package again (post 3 finger recovery)?
edit: I'm guessing the OMFGB package means the OMFGB rom and GAPPS?

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

Notta's PA Rom works and is stable.
I don't see why there is another version of a great Rom. I know the more roms are better but if you going to produce a copy of a Rom, you have to go better and newer version not old. I don't mean to come off as a sick or trolling but I've been running PA since day one and Notta's version is a beast.

Why make an ics rom when jb is out?

Probably not yet. Stated looking at IR earlier, will see how it goes. HTC seem to have stuff all over the framework.
Nick.

I try different Non-Sense Roms and now I try this one. Same problem here I cant get a WiFi Connection. Any Ideas? On Sense Roms no problems with WiFi connection.

What channel do you have your router WiFi set to?
Also is it set to a/b/g/n or n only?

Read the post under the first one... You need to download it from another place for the time being.

There were enough options for me, and the rom seems to be top-notch quality. I'm sticking to this.
Thank you sir!!!!!!!!

OK.... Well we have 2 possibilities then. The WiFi firmware is from the developer phone and it's possible it has bands 12/13/14 disabled. Or alternatively we might beef to look at WiFi config and make sure N works. Either way is going to require some testing on your part. Easiest one would be to enable a/b/g on your router temporarily whilst leaving it on channel 13.

I wasn't able to establish a BT connection with my Sports Tracker heart rate belt even though it worked in CM10.1.

Is there any way to make keyboard bigger? I'm running with the default dpi of 360 but would really like to make the keyboard normal size. I'm using SwiftKey.

I haven't used SwiftKey in a while, but as far as I remember, I think there was a way in SwiftKey settings to adjust the key height, for both portrait and landscape modes. If I remember correctly it was in Advanced settings, I could be wrong though.
Woohooooooo! This is what I have been waiting for! Slim Bean was godly on my Galaxy Nexus!
I really want this device to get Dual Boot so we can get both an AOSP and Sense ROM on the phone for easy switching!

The nickname of the phone? It's a joke, saying the same joke all the time never gets old to simple minds
First impressions ROMs descent no bugs so far. Had a few small stutters but maybe the kernel is balanced for battery or the ROM is settling in. I used beans gapps and everything Google works great. Comes with all your basic aosp apps like SMS, phone, clock etc. Here is a screenshot of the extras or "Armory" as its called.
Edit: One thing I just noticed is the APN settings where blank. For the first time I had to manually enter them. Also having issues with MMS but might be low service area.

Please send logs if you continue to have issues. It's very easy using the CatLog app from the Play Store if you have root. Cheers!

Are you able to manually set your APN?
I am merging a commit for the long APN list this coming week. If it doesn't fix your issue, please let me know.
To my knowledge, we're not currently taking feature requests at this time due to Android P being right around the corner. We will be adding a few things we already have in code review, but that'll probably be it until then.
