I use MiniCM9-3.0.4 ROM and the speaker is too quiet while I'm calling. I didn't find answer in MiniCM9-3.0.4's thread.
Anyone have any solutions to fix this problem?

I haven't tried headphones yet. I'm surprised that this problem isn't more discussed in MiniCM9-3.0.4 thread..
It is a known bug, the audio lib have to be remade. It will be fixed in the coming release if nAa gets them working
TIP: Initially the volume during call is already high, if u press the volume up/down button during a call ul get dropped to a low volume n u can hardly hear anything. So avoid pressing the volume buttons during a call. If u did just reboot the volume during call be normal again. I hope that gives u a temp fix

It is discussed at length, it just isn't in the faq yet, but you can press volume-down to get more volume when you're in a call. I know it doesn't make sense, but the working of the volume buttons is actually reversed, so pressing volume-down will increase the volume, and pressing volume-up will decrease it.

There are different volume levels for different volume types.
Phone (DTMF), Media (Music), System, Alarm, Ringtone, Messages, etc.
I use free Elixir app and widget from the Market to adjust all volume levels separtely.
The first person complaining of high volume otherwise there are hundreds of threads complaining of low volume....
Reduce your volume by pressing the volume down button on the left side...There is a free program in market called volume ace can do the job for you.
is there a setting page for microphone on Amaze?
the microphone works for recording a video, not working when phone call, record a voice clip or voxer. actually on voxer, it is really low.
do I have a defective phone or some setting is not right.
stock rom, just updated to ICS, didn't really try before updates, just got the phone.
LMAO... There's a volume rocker on side of phone buddy... Prolly a broken device

Pretty much the only way I know to adjust volume for phone calls is with the rocker button on the side. So you need to be like on a call then press the rocker button and it should adjust the volume for phone calls. As far as voxer I've never used that app but know the concept maybe there's a volume setting within the app. But if you continue with these issues maybe try a factory reset and reinstall everything, or maybe you do have a defective phone.

There's also some volume control apps on the market free, maybe you could give those a try.

Hi all,
As you know you can change the status of the ringer with the sound button at Galaxy S III. When you press up at mute it changes to vibrate and you press it at vibrate it changes to sound vice verse. But as a normal person and with a normal handling of the phone, when I want to press the lock key I mistakenly press to the volume button with the other edge of my hand because I am holding the phone...
So question is; how can I disable this "changing status with volume keys" features?
If your question is about this feature on JB leak, I talk about this in the lastest leak thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871338&page=9
I have this problem too. I hate it.

Nope it is not the same problem. It changes to Sound-Vibrate-Mute-Vibrate-Sound but the problem is, I don't want this feature!
So, any help, idea, walk through from anyone?

Ok, sorry ! I think the solution is to modify system/framework/ext.jar.
Install Volume Control+
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cb.volumePlus
It enables you to lock the volume in place so that the volume buttons will not adjust the volume.

My RAZR randomly mutes the media volume and I can't see how to unmute it. If I press the volume keys it still has an speaker icon with a strike through it

I also face the same issue many times on my RAZR since ICS and pressing the volume keys don't do anything. You've got to go to the settings>sounds>volume and then slide the media & ringtone sliders left n right which will eventually unmute your device.

Same thing here, I am now on JB and in this precise moment I'm facing the same issue, I used to unmute it by setting up an alarm or messing with the volume controls as you say but it is not working anymore, I am now seriously thinking in buying another phone although my razr is working great after the JB upgrade and the phone is in mint condition :S
If anyone was able to fix this please tell us how :S

Guys! I fixed it!, I just looked at more whining guys in this forum and found that I there is an APP that forces sound through the speaker:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix
the link to that forum is:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211182&highlight=speaker
As soon as I installed the app the sound went back to the speakers yay!!

now its ok, problem fixed, just installed latest jkay deluxe settings and my problem was solved. before its like this: example the notification volume is just 1 /10, when i adjust the ringing or media volume via volume keys, notification volume increases, regardless of adjusting the ringing volume down, notification volume still goes up.
