Is there a way to keep apps in memory?
I have a Galaxy Nexus which has a lot of ram. I only use some minor applications but it seems the system kills the processes which are only several mb all the time.
When I check my free ram its mostly half empty.
Is there a way to tell android to keep an app in memory?

Anything I can do? Maybe a different kernel? I thing francos kernels did something like that on the GneX.

HI,
In my stock rom for i9100 I was able to unhide the statusbar by a downstroke from the top of the screen in any application (games, videos, etc.).
It's very helpful if you receive a notification and just want to have a quick look if it's important or not.
In Cyanogenmod, this gesture is not available. Is it somehow possible to extract this function from the stock rom and include it into cyanogenmod or any other custom rom?`
This is a feature which I am missing from the beginning I was using custom roms.
But I wanna keep the Cyanogenmod-statusbar. I just need the "unhide"-function
Greetings,
Dan
Pull down notification is not available in cm Rom?? You sure you have looked?
Well it works in homescreen or system in general if the bar is in hidden state, but not in fullscreen apps like videoplayback e.g.

That's because them apps/games override that function for full screen lovelyness
Do you know if I can avoid that apps override this function?

No you wont be able to.
Crazy. Just found the app "swipe status bar" in Play Store. It should do what i need, thx

Hi was wondering if there is an apk of the Note 8 Calendar Widget floating around or if anyone knows where i can get it? I like it becouse of its size, odly it was bigger than the one on the 10.1. Would love one that takes up the whole home screen and also shows event in the month view.
You could download a firmware from the note 8 and get the apks.
