Hi everyone, I've got a htc wildfire running froyo (arrfff no root but it's not the thread)
I would like to know if it's possible to activce instant notification in facebook app, because the refresh shows only time to 30mn to 4hours and never, I don't know how I can do
Thank you
I dont believe its currently available for the adroid app yet, even the dev is riping his hair out and he used to write for the apple ipone. Only available way is to change the email address to a gmail account as gmail suports instant push notifications but only for events, messages etc not normal news feed.
Hope that helps...........
Works fine for me...
(Lags a little on mobile data connection)
Thanks NickHu but what's your setting in facebook official app ????

I have this same issue, I dont like the grouping or of the messages either it makes it really difficult to see exactly what email i have in my inbox. Its simple to change this feature of on a desktop, so I don't know why Google doesn't have this same feature in the mobile version
Hey guys, I'm stuck in a slight bug on my Xperia U. Its actualy my GF's phone but its up to me to solve the issue.
When we use the facebook messenger app, we can't see any contacts online (the green dot) just a few with the cellphone icon, though on the PC we can clearly see many contacts online (with the green dot).
Its the latest version of both facebook app and facebook messenger app and android 2.3.7 stock.
Is the any kind of configuration we are forgetting? or is it a bug? there is any way around it?
Thanks for the attention.

Sent from my MT27i
Hello All,
This is a most recent phenomenon. I used to send LinkedIn Articles and links to photos to friends the following way, that worked perfectly until a couple of days ago.
So I open the article or post on LinkedIn. Right Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner. Select "Share via", which brings up Huawei Share. Now I used to be able to select Messenger, where the list of my contacts showed up, clicked on the send button beside their name, and the link was sent through Messenger. Not anymore! I can send the links through Gmail, Mail, etc, except Messenger. I have tried the same thing on two Mate 20 Pros, on two different continents, same issue for about a week now.
EMUI 10.0.0.191, LinkedIn version 4.1.425, Messenger version 255.0.0.14.126.
Since one of the above mentioned two phones don't have LinkedIn app installed, but the same issue happens with attempting forwarding photos, etc, to Messenger, I suspect the issue is with either the Messenger App, or the Huawei Share.
Any idea how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!
UPDATE:
It turned out the issue was widespread on all Androids, so it was not Huawei specific. It has been resolved by Messenger update to 256.2.0.23.117
