i wanted to SGS2 to completly look like HTC Sensation/Vivid
So if u guys know any roms which do change me SGS2 to HTC which has sense 3.0 i would really greatfull. :good:
Sell it and buy a sensation or vivid.

If you used you computer for searching you could try the Sense-port ROM which should be rather unstable or in a non-working state...
But why do the work yourself when you can start a new topic to fill the board...
A simple search would have helped. Sense4 ROM is being ported to the S2. It isn't really usable right now. No other ROM is "Sense-like" for the SGS II. Why don't you just get AOSP/AOKP? Much better if you ask me. Maybe you can apply Sense Theme using the Theme Chooser in CM9/AOSP/CM10/AOKP ROMs?
Just try the ROMs and read like everybody else.

Root you're device and upload the framework-res.apk and the htc apps I will try it.

I think dezire z is hdpi. Also i think you need htc.recources.apk

im asking other devs allready where they got their sources and im really confident to get this to work.
i don't really think, that a super rom like miui would make it to the optimus,..
but sense would, i can even run sense on my blackstone,
so i don't see a problem there,..

No u can just try and port the theme alone?
Who are those , oh so many users ? I swear to god , this is the first time I see a thread for such a request for P500 . I mean , if it was 2 months ago I would understand , but now when Gingerbread development is rocking ahead and also we have an estimate ETA for official Ginger , why would anyone want a crummy ROM from a HTC which would take a lot of time to port .
As CC said just get a theme with SENSE like look , I think there was one using Launcher PRO that appeared this week . Just search for it and then patiently wait for gingerbread awesomeness
Please inform if you are going to develop or are just asking to.

from what I read in other parts of the forum, you cannot easily port a Sense rom because something about lacking the rosie framework

How about an AOSP Froyo or Gingerbread? If I had a fast internet connection I'd gladly help/spearhead. Last time I attempted, I got shocked at how huge a package of files I was downloading with git xD

So it looks like a port but isn´t a real one..
well i really really want to buy Galaxy S2 ... its just that I feel I would be missing out on HTC Sense if I go with this one instead of HTC EVO 3D !

Don´t me rude man . I don´t know if u like sense or not , but it´s a personal opnion and i TOTALLY support sense on galaxy s II.

still only you will get old sense v2 feel.but newer sense 3 in sensation is cool,if any one ported that will be cool.

Anything is possible, but the output is likely useless, with a barely working rom tbh
As a point of reference, Sense ports on SGS1 were all dead in the water.
Just don't hold too much hope for it. It ain't coming in working form anytime soon.

Because i saw sense 2.1 rom for galaxy s, and galaxy s2, so i thought it could be in our phones . Is here any dev who would to this? It would be really great, Im sure that many people would love it P
i think they are created a long time ago, but unsupported with some bugs

Try yourself, take any Sense ROM from other armv6 device (for example HTC Wildfire S), use boot.img/other libs from CM7 and it should work.
yea i also think about that but i think when developers would really want to do this, they would do this ;D as you can see, we have great developers who are porting miui to our galaxy, and everyone was saying ,, miui won't be able for galaxy ace" and boom and we have cm9, not offical, but we have so why we can't have sense ? ^^
Sense uses a lot of resources. It makes our phone slower.
