It does lag a lil when moving pages or in market but im sure that could be fixed with over clocking. I hope you enjoy if you have any problems please report and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Been busy recently with other thing so I haven't really got to do things like this. I'm going to be porting this today. Here. I like it and I got permission to port it so cross your fingers for it to work It is JB . Easy to port and I should be able to get it to boot, if not I'll look for other things. I've been trying to port a lot to the nook recently due to the fact the nook color and kindle fire get more development then we do so I'm trying to pick up the development for our fantastic tablet!

It doesn't really work bad. Need testing on youtube too but flash the 3.0 kernel over top of it and should fix the Rom up

I didn't expect this thread to get popular which is awesome ( lol ) but CLICK HERE for Kuzma30's 3.0 kernel. Works great haven't tested it on this Rom yet but should be compatible. Thanks everyone for the liking of my Rom. Expect more from me later on! I did try to port eye candy but didn't get a boot. Just shows the bar loading then stops and shuts down nook ( then I start freaking ) . Nothing bad. I need some time to get this Rom I'm working on to get booted

Try looking into Super user and update su binaries . Then swap it from denying to allowing

it seems great so far! a few little graphical errors i noticed (like the widgets when i first booted looked squished and all wrong..so i don't think we can use them).
currently reinstalling apps now!

Great to here you like the Rom I will try to use uot kitchen to fix the screwy widgets. Take the regular ones off the screen then re-add then and it'll fix a lil.
Liking it so far. Yes you have to load super user from the play store. To get root

Update on ROM Status
This ROM just turned from a Beta into an Alpha. didn't realize there were that many issues lol
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP! FLASH AT OWN RISK!

hmm, i'm not sure what actually happens if i don't have S-Off, but the rom flashed for me even though i do not have S-Off. however, most of the keys on hard keyboard doesn't work, neither does the back key. that's about as far as i got before i had to revert to my backup because i need to use it as my alarm clock.

honestly tho, i'd keep that on there because while i don't have S-Off, I have my bootloader unlocked and I can do some of the stuff S-Off'd Espresso can. hopefully this will get more feedback and we will see.
I thought this requires S-OFF, so I tried to unlock my hboot with HTC tool. Now Hboot shows LOCK OOW and I think I am stuck with the official Froyo. Any idea to get me out of this. Urgent!
Since this is Gingerbread based, maybe this would fix wifi?

WiFi doesn't work... it gives you an error when you try to turn it on...
And the screen sort of flashes at random.,,
I personally wouldn't recommend this as a Daily just yet, since its still a bit unstable...

What is AppMan you ask? well what isn’t AppMan!
Basicly EVERY addon for your custom ROM available through a live menu,
To be either saved to your SD card for flashing or installed as soon as it is finnished downloading!
So with AppMan you can “Bloat” or “De-Bloat” to your liking
Without worying about deleting the wrong files in Root-Explorer or if you dont know what apps to freeze!
What i have done here is reconfigure it for ICS Stock.
AppMan doesn’t need to be updated to add new items to the lists as it looks it up from online!
The idea is you can add new mods / tweaks / anything realy as often as need be and you can veiw them at your pleasure from you phone!

It is about 80% updated. Had to rerite it for ics from the ground up. should be a bit more betterer now hope to release soon.

You could probably back port it with smali edits or something but a rebase for them would be better

Ok, cool. Just to be sure, how do I check my current firmware version? I have to find a stupid MicroSD thing as well, I loaned it to someone a week ago and never got it back, so I am not sure I can even do this yet. Do you need to shut the phone down between each step, or do the "slide the battery partway out and slip out the SD card without shutting the phone off maneuver"? haha

Well I can't really help ya there thats kinda up too you I would go with "I'm gonna need to power off". Just to be safe. Remember rather be safe than sorry, LOL.

Couple things
Gallery wont display anything, says no pics or videos
If I take a pic then it will show in gallery.
also wont see any sound files other than what is in system/media/audio
maybe an issue with reading ext sd card.
Not a big deal just letting ya know
Anyone else have these issues?

make sure you ran the firmware upgrade correctly, fix permissions. Question, Are you EXT-2 or EXT-4?
check out your system and let us know so we can help you further.

Ya I thought Who_Mike_D was going to help me with it but I think he must of gotten tied up. That said yes global is the future I think. If you would be willing to help me with the quick settings that would be great. Are you able to enable transparency too? If so that would be great as well. Anything you can would be appreciated by all of us. I've been digging through the systemui.apk and can't find the setting so its not like I haven't tried.

I have had Error installs on a very few devices, which have all been fixed or the
installer didn't upgrade there CWM recovery to the latest build.***
Installation:
Install Smasher X
Go to recovery
(Don't tell me the rom didn't install, if you don't have the latest cwm recovery!)
Make a backup of your data(highly recommended)
Install this ROM
Install gapps
Reboot

Thats what I used. But it was 2.5.
I've been having issues with it myself with my s3 and getting liquid 2.4 to install.
Thanks though. I got in a little trouble for posting Hacker Smash Edition.
That would be why it says WAREZ in the download.
WAREZ meaning pirate/copyright software. Opps lol.

I would like to try this out. Is it any more stable than cm 10 is? What I mean is that with cm10 and avatar my phone was very unstable. It would open apps all by itself and just all types of stuff like that. Maddy phone unusable. I'm using pizzuto 5.0 and have no issues at all. I just dont like sense very much.

Sorry will fix in update.
Has anyone tried?
Neither 5.0.1 or 5.0 3 would flash for me, giving me a status 7 error. I'm using twrp 2.2 though. I will try to get a chance to update that and try again. 5.0.1 did start to install then the error. 5.0.1 acted like an update then the error.

Nice. How are you planning to do this? Lightly modified, debloated, deodexed stock? Or are you going to get more drastic with it?
I don't know what others are looking for, but I know I'd like something close to stock, no rom branding, but with things like annoying battery notifications and such taken out.

Would it be possible to have an option to maybe flash a zip that removes the xtreme audio mod and surround sound feature? I'd prefer to disable them. If there is a way in settings to disable both that would be fine too instead of a zip.

I dont believe so right now cause the kernel is needed for rooting purposes...

Only if they make an xposed for galaxy devices on 5.1.1, which i dont believe there is yet... just 5.0

Ive only seen the s6 keyboard... i think the sounds are from the s6...
Just noticed doesnt have sview cover....

I have not updated to the FOF6 bootloader and modem. Is that necessary before flashing this ROM? Sorry if this is a NOOB question.

Yes it is... at least bootloader, not sure about modem... i just used this page for guidance...
