OK guys, today I'm very happy day. First time i can fix my compass revert issue. I used your "Fix Accelerometer Lag.zip" file, but its not work for me. I don't know what's the reason. But i use my brain. Actually this is what i have done.
I have FXP 133 CM9 ROM, so that i extracted it into my desktop separate folder.
Extracted your "Fix Accelerometer Lag.zip" file into my desktop separate folder.
Then i use your zip as basic and search its similar files on the CM9 (actually i use file names).
Collect all the similar CM9 files using your "Fix Accelerometer Lag.zip"
Using winzip i delete "Fix Accelerometer Lag.zp" file one by one and replace files that i collected from CM9.
Than i flash it via CWM.
Wow finally it work friend.
Your method, i can't see these two files in the "system/lib/hw" folder "sensors.goldfish.so and sensors.semc.so". So i added them.
This file also not available on CM9 ROM "libsensorservice.so" ("system/lib) so that remove it.
I think your file contain some files not work wit WT19 series. I'm a completely noob, so i attached that file with this post. Please check it. Unfortunately there's one issue, compass respond little bit slower than usual, but not big delay. So how do i fix it?

This is a very very bad...
And there is not any hope will solve this problem?
I just need a language that is not in the standard firmware
You need to replace the correct lib's & bin / File to fix gps on the I9000 builds.. if there 2.1 this it's fine, we don't have the file for 2.2 currently to fix it..

I installed the firmware I9000XWJM8, stock modem.bin and stock kernel. GPS does not work (everything else works fine).
Then install files from thread "[Q] update.zip from JI5 GPS files" or thread "[FIX] GPS files ripped from leaked JI2, flashable zip" (forum does not insert links)
GPS is still not working
I no longer know what to do....
Moved to the Q&A sub forum.
As far as the GPS goes, make sure you are using the matching GPS libs.

Unfortunately, I do not know so well Android.
Therefore, ask for help.
Can someone give the necessary files for the GPS from the "stock" firmware?
The fact that the firmware "I9000XWxxx" is not the same file structure for "GPS".
In the archives - the files that seem to be responsible for GPS.
LIB only one - "libgps.so"
BIN is located in the folder "gpsd" and his name is "glgps_samsungJupiter"
Looks like I found a solution to the problem
And so it is very easy
Naturally need "root"
Files from the archive, to lay the appropriate folders. One file with the replacement of "libhardware_legacy.so" (because of him and then had a problem). Reboot. Its all
Tested on Samsung Vibrant with CODE_I9000XWJM8, CSC_I9000OXEJM1 , modem.bin from T959UVJI4, stock kernel

Detailed instructions on how to flash FXP/CM ROM.
You must be on FXP/CM or stock ROM. Download FXP/CM ROM and kernel. If you have FXP ROM, just open X10FlashTool.exe. But if you have CM ROM, download my attached bundle and copy it to FlashTool firmwares directory, then open FlashTool. Now select Flash option and select FXP/CM kernel. Turn off your phone. Hold back button and connect USB to phone. Press OK. If no errors thrown continue, else retry. Copy update.zip to SD card and reboot to CWM. For FXP, press touchscreen on logo. For CM, press back button on logo. In CWM select "wipe data/factory reset". After that select "install zip from sdcard". Then "choose zip from sdcard". Now locate FXP/CM zip and select "Yes". Reboot and enjoy!

*afaik the loader provided with falshtool doesnt work correctly. Also whoever uploaded new loader could you please upload it here too? i can't remember who it was.....
Im 99.9% sure this is correct.
I don't know, really.
I saw some people making it work deleting ANT+ files and using FXP028 kernel without OC or Blagus 030 kernel.
You should ask ponanovn for help.
Also, thanks for using my concept of thread, appreciate it.
But I can't help much besides of helping noobs or testing stuff.
Good luck!

Good luck friend
FXP is working on it for 7x30. They say that if they can fix for 7x30, it is fixed for 7x28, because it is the same for the both chipsets.
But if you can do it better and faster than they, why not do it? Good luck, i wish you a good work

Good luck! Should I add you to the list? Search HACKDROID thread first post and u will find an old Floyo 0.15 FM radio fix. You could see what files were added and replaced. But take files from newer roms like GingerDX.
You guys really should take XperianPro's idea of having an opensource ROM. It would bring the community together and we would have nice fast updates

Also, it would be nice to have a base Kernel (compatible with different ROMs) so we don't have so many combos, which make devs lives a lliving hell to check which ROM work (or not) with which Kernel...FXP 027, 028, 028OC, 030, 030 Blagus, 042, 043 Kernels and ROMs, plus linuxDX and all GDX.

Doesn't this happen with all ROMS? I think it has something to do with loading the HD videos you have in your folder of videos.
I "fixed" it by putting a .nomedia file (open up notepad and click save as, select all files and for the name put ".nomedia") in the folder of videos and then download "Mobo player" from the Play Store and use that to play your videos.
Hope this helps unless it's a bug as I have never the recent CM7.
Got it to work flashing this file http://tnij.org/p498
PS I see that You've flashed fix attached by the dev, which is wrong. After flashing the file attached by me the ROM might not boot, so You will have reflash the ROM and DON'T flash the fix by dev

Hello everyone, take my Salam(Greetings).
After installing any custom rom on your Xperia, you might face sensors bugs(compass, acceleration etc). So, I have made a zip file contains the stock firmware's sensors files. Flash it via CWM recovery and all sensors of your phone should work accurately as your stock rom.
Make a nandroid before flashing, no risks then!

Does it solve the compass problem in gmaps?
Sent from my Xperia Mini using xda premium
yes bro, my main intention was to fix compass issue on Maps. My Maps compass is now accurate.
Could somebody test it? I am GPS addict, so it is pretty important for me. But I can't take a useful backup, because I only have TWRP.
Tested it on extended CM10 rom in mango and reverses the accelerometer to how it was before some time, which means with slow response. Don't know on other versions.
please help us! i have the similar problem with samsung GT B5512.
please can u upload sensor zip file for samsung gt b 5512 i have the same issue after flashing custom rom on it but no one is helping me they just suggest me to flash stock through odin. but i found similar problem / solution post here. so please if can u make zip file for my phone i shall be much obliguied to u.

Well, if you are trying to say that you cannot change your brightness on custom ROMS and can change it on Stock ROM, then, it may be a bug on the custom ROMS. Almost all custom ROMS are made on the same base ROM which developers modify according to their needs and needs of the people. So maybe that's a permanent bug and will take some time to get fixed. No worry, you can always use the stock ROM. It's not so bad.

Is randomly, sometimes I tried again roms already downloaded, and happens without installing apps (fresh installation). Its rare, but is not a important thing for me, I only asks if happens to someone else. I don't know if is the UI or is the rom, the same UI works fine in stock, flashed at CWM (custom kernel in stock). Btw, any ideas?
Don't know what is exactly causing this bug.
I would advise you to do a complete fresh reinstall of the whole ROM

Since you say that it appears randomly. Maybe the censor was not working. Then it is a hardware issue.

In stock with an other UI. Also I tried a UI for CWM in stock and no problem , but I love the things of an custom rom. I can change brightness in Configuration, also attach a screenshot ,
EDIT: I can change brightness in the slider controller with this bug, also shows the current brightness (is hard to see), so is not hardware issue, is only visual
