It's a bug in tapatalk. If it is still loading, it probably hasn't got the headers and doesn't have permissions for that thread.
Tapatalk should really be disabling that menu until it has loaded.

I have Tapatalk on an EVO 3d and I still get prompted to launch an app, when viewing a forum is possible.

SprintUsers has their own version of TapaTalk just like XDA. That's what you are being prompted to install.
Don't know if that warning can be disabled or not, but you should ask at sprintusers.com.
