Im fairly new to all this, i used to have a G1 that supported proxy settings for the WIFI via a custom rom. However my x10 mini pro doesn't seem to have this, is there anyway i can get this extra settings?

ok - so now that custom roms can be installed on this phone, does anyone know how the proxy settings are added to other custom rom phones? I have done some searching but it has taken me back here!!!
What do you want the setting for?
If you want to open the blocked sites then there is apps to do that.
i have the same problem- to conect ot my school network you need to be able to edit proxy settings!

I use it to connect to my Uni network.

I'm pretty sure that I installed the CM10 Data Fix correctly (because Data didn't work initially). It still didn't work. So I moved the file they said to and changed its permissions. It still doesn't work. Could anyone help me?
I could not set any apn on all my cm roms i.e. cm10 n cm10.1
what u got to do is uncheck the two options in mobile data settings imsi code..
And check ur data on n also data roaming. Now set ur apn... When u press save it wont show up... Its okay. Now reboot ur device... Or switch it off n switch it on.... Ur data should be up n running
P.s. - see that u fill in ur relevant mcc code and ur mnc code too...

Hello every one.At first I have to be sorry of my english,i'm in intermediate level.
Well I have a big problem with my phone,Xperia P. I Cant acces to my google account on it.In each problem that google has developed there's no access for me(gmail,google play,....it asks for google account on each one of them and there is no access for me on google account).When i get to settings to add my google account from the accounts part, i will have these problems:after choosing the exicting ,it asks me to enter a gmail id and after i enter my information,it says that your connection is not ok and you must change it.I have changed my wifi connection a lot,even with 4-5 different isp,and that's like this with the data too.
And when I choose the new button,it asks me to enter a name and after that an id.at the next,it says that your id is not exists and you must chang it.i have entered many different ids but i have this problem with all of them.
I dont prefer to factory reset,so if there is some another way please tell me.
my stock rom(4.1.2)is already rooted and my kernel is 3.0.8 and my phone is xperia p.

The only way better is to Reset, before that open apps-All apps- select credential manager - - clear data like vice do for some other system apps , related to google, have reboot and try , if not factory reset

If you already root your phone then check your host file in /system/etc/host. Delete every line in it if exist.

I just flash my Z2 with flashtool using D6503_17.1.2.A.0.314_RU and uses custom rom ( eXistenZ ver. 2.0.0 for D6503)
After that, I found that my phone can't connect to mobile data.
I am sure that sim card is detected , mobile data is on and LTE is on.
But I still couldn't connect to internet

You APN is set fine?
Check it on Settings >more >mobile networks >Access Point Names and Check if you have APN of your company. Sorry for my bad English

Oh thanks, that is the ISP company problem, which their server was down yesterday, thanks a lot for your help.
So I installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 Android 5.1.1 to my Sony Xperia Z2, and after installation my phone wont connect to mobile network. Wifi works, and phonecalls work. There is exclamation mark in the signal icon, and when i connect to wifi it disappears. I didnt find any mistakes in APN. Could it be wrong baseband? Or what could it be?
Maybe internet settings are missing ? go to settings>more> internet settings> download settings for Internet and MMS. (I had the same problem but it is working fine now)

I wont find the section "internet settings" and "download internet settings". I think I need to download them, but how can i download if i dont even find that option.. Im getting little frustrated. Could you send Screenshot, that where that option is suppose to be?

Check APN settings under the Wireless & Networking menu.You’ll find that no APN has been set. You’ll need to choose the one for your mobile operator or worse – manually enter the APN settings.After setting the APN you could need to restart your phone

I have dont that, and No help.. Could it be the baseband version problem? Im trying to install stock rom, test it if it then would work..
Call *#*#4636#*#* to enter phone settings or use this app and select Additional Info
Select Phone information
Set prefered network type to CDMA auto (PRL) and wait until your phone connects to 3G
Change prefered network to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) maybe this works? If not I am sorry

Now i flashed stock rom and mobiledata works fine. Ill give cyanogenmod one more try..

The exclamatory means that there is no internet access. Ask your service provider for manual internet settings.

Now i have stock rom ranking,and after i installed the internet settings from mobile network settings, mobile data started running. In cyanogenmod i didnt have that option in settings so I think thats why mobile data didnt work on cyanogenmod.. How can i get cyanogenmod mobiledata working, without the option to install network settings?

There is no other go. U have to call them and ask them to send it

Yeah, i can Set APN but it wont help at all. I have no idea what is the problem.
So i just installed cyanogenmod 12.1 AGAIN and still no mobiledata, but with the stock rom it worket just well... What can i do, im out of options

I tried the same but still the same result so I have given up on going back to CM and stick to stock.
