Hi. When I changed from ICS to hellybean, I forgot to flash the initial package. I've updated the ROM from 805 to 806 and now to 807. Everything seems to be running fine which made me question was the initial zip necessary at all?

No, just if you're comming from the other rom. It's working? Relax and enjoy!

All of flappjaxx's (the collective) roms are great, I'm currently on his LE2 ROM with FJ mod 5/22/12, it is awesome.
All you need to do is follow his directions to a T and you should not have any issues flashing from your current set up.
You do not need to flash anything separate, is all in the ROM.

We have a lot of great ICS Roms to choose from. I think it comes down to personal preference (driven by what you do with your phone). I'm a huge fan of Hybrid RC IV.

I've just made the move to ICS recently and want to update to the latest AOKP+Glitched. On my Eris on most roms you had to reflash GApps after every update, is that the same situation here as well?
i.e. Flashing an update over an existing AOKP.

Well if you don't have any gapps after a rom flash you should probably flash them

It's been well documented on here that in order for wifi to work on AOSP ROM's you need to flash an ICS ROM first then go back so im downloading Omega 13.1 now but my question is do i have to actually be connected to wifi when flashing the ICS ROM or can i just have it enabled and do i need to flash using Odin or can i use CWM,i then want to go back to Liquid Jellybean, can someone please post the necessary steps i need to take.
Cheers
I went straight from LI8 to liquid 2.0 Rc3 and wifi works just fine.

oh really, ok i was under the impression that i had to flash an ICS ROM first, i tried wifi tethering on Liquid Jelly Bean and it wont work but it works fine with Dragon 1.7 ROM
Haven't used wifi tethering but that may be a rom issue.

It depends are you wanting to get on the newest or what. I personally have to ROMs that I've ported and they're very stable

I would normally say flash to ICS. But! There is the chance of the EU bug. Therefore I would try to flash to jelly bean first if your on stock and rooted maybe flash a custom froyo then go up to jellybean. Don't forget gapps
