Need help to overclock my xperia neo v

Hey guys.. I used to have x10minipro and recently i bought neo v.. I cant unlock my bootloader with setool1. I dont know why but its production date is 12w15. At service menu it shows "bootloader unlock allowed: yes"
Test point method failed and i really don't know what to do... All i want is to overclock my neo v...
Thanks for reading and helping!

With bootloader unlock allowed, you can use the Sony method to unlock.
As testpoint doesn't work, the other unofficial methods all use testpoint too, so Sony way is only way.

Its free of cost but if you unlock via sony website then its officially unlocked that mean you will break warranty on your mobile also will not get regular update via pc companion ......
But you can get them from xda .....

I know but i read in a forum that some "DRM programs" will be lost.
Is that true? And if yes, what are "DRM programs"?
I don't know if i write it right..

DRM for track id etc, but the newer versions seem to work
Sent from my MT11i using XDA
So i have to risk it with the sony method..

as long as you dont care for what it is... you can use many apps from the market that do not use DRM keys but do the work

but don't worry, sony has released its own trackid app in google play so its not a thing to worry as we have 100s of alternatives

There is no risk to the Sony method, just terms. Forfeiting drm and warranty.....
Unfortunately with phones from 12w they have closed other methods, being a handset that is getting older, there probably won't be any great effort to find other ways, as the official way is still available.

1) there is a relocking bootloader. Tft file which relocks your bootloader only { DRM KEYS WONT RETURN}which will help you to bypass Sonys altered software error while updating it through SEUS or PC Companion n you can update your device without any problem to latest firmware....
2) No performance change is noticed rather the performance wil increase if you using custom roms...
3)it works only for Xperia 2011 device

Hi for now, there are no known ways of rooting the locked Sola bootloader.
There are successful methods for this on ICS but not gingerbread, for now. I have tried so many.
Thanks for replies. Thread moved to the Q & A.
so we w8 ICS or FXP its like a race! xD
I got tired of waiting and crazy rumours so I did it, unlocked myself. I wanted root that much. Plus, I read B4anry explain in a comment exactly how Sony treats locked/unlocked bootloader, depending on what you've done, and I think I'm safe. He knows his stuff obviously!
