Hello!i have found a flashable zip file which installs google now + google voice.did a NAND and flashed it.now i am bored of it cuz it's laggy.does anybody have a zip for the normal google search so i can flash it through recovery?thanks!!!
P.S. I wouldn't like to fully revert to that NAND because it's a longer process than flashing a zip. That is the worst case scenario.

You could just extract the Google search apk out of your nand and use any root explorer to copy it to system/app.

Thanks but i don't think that this will completely erase google now and all of it's functions.i was rather looking for a zip file that will overwrite google now with normal google search

Google now is imo the Googlequicksearchbox apk and the voice for Google now apk. You can just uninstall the last one and overwrite the Google now apk with the old normal one. I guess than it's gone.

New android market apk. I'm currently using CM 7.1 RC1. I've downloaded it, and it is working like a charm! Enjoy
Ps- Google has stated publicly that if you rent a movie from Google movies it will not work on Rooted Devices. As far as I know there is no work around as of yet. Other then that, we in the rooted community should have no problems with the rest of the new market.

Working on rcmix 3d v1.9
I downloaded it using maxthon browser (free in market) and once it completed downloading, I double tapped it while viewing the file in the browsers' download manager. It prompted me for permission to install, so I did, after I did a back up of course, and bam, my market shortcut on the desktop and in the app drawer both opened the new market with out a hitch. So long story short, do a back up, and install how you would any third party downloaded APK.

Where are these movies downloaded from in the market? And how long do we "rent" them for if anyone knows. O_O
I have a some money to spend on apps. Let me know what you think I should get! Paid apps I already have: Xda premium, Setcpu, System panel, Beautiful widgets, swiftkey, Titanium backup, and ROM toolbox. Lets do this!
Root explorer for sure. I use it daily.

I keep hearing about this app but never really understood what was so good about it.
I just use the file explorer that's built in to MIUI. What can it do that separates it from the rest?

I would use it if it wasn't for the fact my gf got me an ipod touch not so long ago. So I can't just drop it and throw my music on my Evo. Pretty sweet though. Nice stuff so far, keep them coming.

still rocking my zues bolt
I noticed that in gmail (haven't tried yahoo yet) . It said no files support download of this file type. I've got root explorer, and sense has a built in archive viewer. Maybe it's a leftover side effect from the app association thing.

I just found a regular apk off of file crop, but it looks a bit low res and when I go on Google Play it keeps showing "your device is not compatible with this app" and shows the logo for the jellybean version. Does this have something to do with the build.prop?
