Gmail app problem - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I have no luck with Gmail app.
I tried clear cache already. But it will force close very frequency. If there is any way to fix it or anybody have the same issues?
Thanks

I used to have that problem a lot before, but recently it is stable. It might be when I changed io-scheduler, not sure though. I'm using ATP tweak to set it to "sio". I'm not using any of the other tweaks (tune.sh), but I also user brower2ram. Running .28 stock, locked, rooted.

No, but i think i will do it when they have new version coming out. Just don't want to setup the whole thing again.

I have the same problem.
I use FMR memory cleaner to clean the system sometimes it resolve the problem for few days.

[Q] Weather in Ginger3dth3ory 6.01

Can't post in the dev threads yet so asking here...
This may already be known and being fixed in the next planned update but I haven't seen it mentioned so thought I would ask in case there is something I can do myself.
I am unable to add additional cities to the weather app. It doesn't matter what you type in...it doesn't find anything or add anything. Its not a huge deal but I like to keep up with what the conditions are back home
I have tried clearing the app data, clearing dalvik and cache etc and nothing has changed.
Anyone else have this issue and/or know of a fix?
Well...upgraded to the newest version and still having this issue. Anyone else using this ROM try to add a location to Weather? Can you do it? Am I missing something silly?
Aside from this minor issue this ROM is great so far! Thanks Th3ory!

I have not heard of anyone else having a issue... That leads to the question of the century. Did you wipe before you installed?

Always! I have become a pro at setting up my phone with the awesome updates we get from you
Format cache, data, system, dalvik and reset battery stats everytime whether specified or not.
I assume you are able to add locations to the weather app?
The only other thought I have is that maybe something is getting screwed up when I reinstall some of my apps from Titanium Backup...the only system thing I restore is my desktop.

When a question comes up that no one else has and the user with the issue recovered using one of "save my time" apps... 98% of the time it is caused by TI, MyBackup, etc.

I will try reflashing again and test it out before I do any personalization. FYI I do recall seeing one other person in the primary thread mention the same issue.
Overall I can definitely live with the issue, I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing it and/or if there was an easy fix that I was missing. Thanks for the replies!

Yep, there was. He restored his apps and data with TI also.
The troubles caused by saving a little time logging into a few apps really is not worth the trouble.

Oh well...fresh install after full wipe, no personalization beyond initial setup and the problem remains. I am sure there are other weather apps out there I can use if I really want to so I am done fighting with it!
Time to configure things again

Stock messaging app always force closes

probably about 5 or so times a day, my messaging app force closes. i've tried wiping the cache of the app, wiping my dalvik cahce, and factory resetting but for some reason, this problem still persists. has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
Mine crashed about 2-3 times a day. Mainly when I'm in a message press the back button I've kinda gotten use to it now. I have no idea how to fix it
No such issue with my phone stock or custom rom
Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
my stock messages app also force closes very often and tried everything to fix it. The only solution I could find is not using it and switching to gosms
Since we are in a forum about custom ROMs.
Mind providing what custom ROM you're on?
Or more information on how to recreate that issue, if its repeatable then get a log cat (Google on how)
This way you will get more help

Multiple WatchOn FCs throughout the day. [Stock/Never rooted/MI5]

Just like the title says, any chance it's associated with faulty hardware?

Same here... by any chance did you notice these things start happening after you modded the pen window or the multi window(assuming you may have).Im not sure but I just when into twrp and cleared my cache and delvik and reinstalled the deodexed m15 rom and then cleared cache and delvik again. Now my phone is running good with no more force closes... give it a shot, you dont have to clear the data as long as its the same rom..

I am all stock. No apps, no nothing. I do plan on routing the phone, but I want to know what it's like out of the box first. the force close issue is apparently an issue across all carriers. specific to that watch on app.
Second that! No modifications, at all. I just wanted to make sure everything was working fine before rooting.
I had the same thing happen to me Watch On would fc like every 5 min. but then I went into Watch On and set it up for comcast and no more fc's from then on.

I Cleared data on WatchON, and i havent seen the FC since then.
Yeah, I've found either clear the data on watchon, or go ahead and set it up, and the force closes will stop. Good old Sammy software lol

I had several watchons and one my magazine fc's.
Will try clearing the data on both, ty.
I get FC's for Apps I don't use Lumen Toolbar & WatchOn, for Apps I didn't know I had until they FC'dMy Magazine
Those are mildly annoying but since I never use the apps I can deal with it pretty well. I'm confident these kinks will be straightened out eventually.
It's when it's an app I use all the time like XDA Premium App FC's everytime I open it I get annoyed!! LOL
I'm expecting these inconvenience are only temporary and things will get optimized hopefully sooner rather then later. :good:

Working good here , go to app manager , force stop it , clear cache and delete data. Then retry.
Anytime I have the white loading screen with any app I check the Cache . Sure enough it's almost always fixed by clearing cache. Either clear the app in settings as suggested above or Clear all apps cache in Phone manager, or TWRP recovery. I also use Clean Master sometimes.
Cleared cache in settings worked thanks guys

Clearing cache and data will solve this problem.
Go to settings->apps->click on the app->storage->clear cache and clear data.

The settings->storage->clearing cache will clear for a particular app only.
If want to clear for the whole system, then go to phone accelerator->system optimisation->clean.
