Q about download mode - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was just wondering if i put my phone into download mode just to check the flash counter then pull the battery to reboot the phone is there any posibility it can brick my phone?

it should not brick your phone BUT there is a better way to reboot your phone from download mode: just hold the power button for about a few seconds and your phone should restart

Try ot hard reset your phone using the 3-button combo. I don't remember the combo, so just google it out.
If that doesn't work, there is another 3-button combo to go into emergency mode. Google this too . Once you go into emergency mode, follow the steps given in this thread
The same thing happened with me....i took it to LG care and said it freezed and when i restarted its just stuck.... they will give it back to you in an hour or so with stock froyo installed.... so dnt worry

You are holding it wrong way..
Turn the power off. If your LG Optimus One is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Home and Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device

Don't flash anything yet. Try to do a factory reset.
Hold Vol + and - and Power button to go into Boot mode.
Press vol - once to go down to Recovery
Press Vol + once enter recovery
Press Vol - twice to select data/factory reset
Press power button to enter, then vol - to select yes to confirm reset.

What did you do before hand. Were you doing anything different or you just turn it off and on. And it did it on its own?

Flashing fastboot will restore to stock rom. Do this at your own risk, though I have flash fastboot files with no problems there's always some risk involved.
Charge your battery to full before flashing.

my friend have galaxy s 2
and his rooting device with Unlock root program
after he done < mobile restart and stuck in yellow triangle and reboot
>>> he can't enter to recovery mode
and the odin or kies can't Recognize it
Did you try entering download mode?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
yes his try but can't entering download mode or recovery mode
up
How is he trying to enter download mode/recovery?
Sent from my Galaxy SII
nothing works
i asked him same question and told me
velium down = power =home
and i told him try
Turn it off then try holding volume up and down then plug it in without pressing power butto
Yeah, holding volume up and down together won't do anything. It's either volume up-home-power=recovery or volume down-home-power=download. Does he hold them together long enough? For about 10 seconds?

its written android system recovery <3e> in blue.
That's stock recovery.....the only thing I can really suggest is to try reflashing your stock Rom with Odin, if that doesn't work then a factory reset from the recovery menu might be needed, but this will wipe all your data including the internal sd card
Its going to be hard flashing a rom if he cant get into download mode though.
OP, from off, hold vol down, home and power. Can you get to download mode?
Also press volume up, down and home a few times. Make sure they're not stuck down. Recovery is vol up, home and power
