This should be in Q&A section.
You need to provide more details. Are you rooted? What rom you using? Perhaps try list some apps you think may be the caused.

sorry for posting this here.
no its not rooted. i think the applciation might that is when i uninstall the GTrace or someting. coz its awlays pop-up on my divice. what is rom? sorry im newbie on andriod.

As usual, try uninstall any apps you suspect is the caused. If problem still persist, factory reset should solve it.
About rooting and rom, you can start learning from here:

Thanks dude for suggestion. will bring it today.
will post the update..

I went to service center they told me they need to troubleshoot my s3

Well, at least you save a lot of time and solve your issue without rooting.

I'm sure they will just replace faulty parts. Just in case, make sure you check for any scratched when they return it to you.

Good for you Azeter.
@Arsaw i hope they make extra care of my s3

Make pictures of it be4 sending it back and dont accept a scratched one!

UPDATE..
According to service center they need to replace my S3 main board and it will took for a while.. huhuhu. is this acceptable? my S3 is just morethan a month old i bought it last week of June do i need to demand to replace a whole unit? coz imworried about how they gonna replace the mainboard. some tech dont use hands gloves to avoid static or to avoid contaminate the parts of deivce. pleae give some advice.

I don't think they will exchange the whole unit for you even if you demand for it. Under warranty they have the right to repair only the faulty parts. Hope everything goes well the repairs.

Update:
I ready got back my s3 they change main board to it. According to them its a factory defect on modem.
my imei still same.

That fails its a paid for service repair .

Got a serious problem

I was using omega28 and things were fine and then I updated my phone to omega v29 after that I started getting"SIM card removed please restart" or when I restart I Have to airplane mode on and off. So I nandroid my first backup and still same problem then I Odin Ics firmware still I get same problem so what should I do plz help but I've been saving my efs backup I have those but how do I restore or will it work after restore.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Slow down. You should have made your nandroid backup before flashing v29. I would flash Omega again from scratch. Wipe (use Charmin ) and flash ROM and see if the problem persists
You should always do a nandroid before flashing a new ROM or even update. For reasons just like this. You can always delete backups as you make more

Wipe data/factory reset, reflash ROM. See if that gets you unstuck from your airplane mode fiasco.

Those two statements are mutually exclusive. Are you getting the same problem still or not?
Additionally, have you carried out a full wipe before flashing new ROMs?

[Q] Bricked my i717, some doubts about JTAG

Hi.
First of all I apologize for my not so good English.
The thing is that I hard bricked my note i717 by flashing a wrong kernel and now I know that JTAG is my only option, but I want to know if they are going to be able to bring my phone back to life, I don't live in the US that is the reason why I want to be 100% sure before I send it.
I was experiencing some problems with the USB not being recognized by any computer, after searching and reading a lot of post it came down to an incompatible kernel (something to do with the fast-charge feature) so I tried to flash a fast-charge compatible kernel but I downloaded it wrong and BAM!!! my phone is just a brick now (kinda useful to hold the door)
Full info:
I had the stock AT&T rom, then flashed some other roms without problems until this one:
cm-10.1-20130304-experimental-quincyatt-m2, that's where the USB problems began... before that rom I had pa_quincatt-2.57-20120122-201611 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686320)
My question is:
Is it possible to connect the device(you know the JTAG method http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0SX3iDuIZc ) now that it is hardbricked even if it wasn't recognized before bricking?
I appreciate the responses in advance.:laugh:
Yes.

Yes. At first I was skeptical because I paid and did not get an email till a little later but from there everything was OK.

If you have a stock rom the only solution is factory reset . If don t work you can try to erase storage memory with factory reset or update your official Firmware with odin or kies . Your problem seems to be software .
Sorry for bad english

How on earth did you reach that conclusion?
My hunch is as previous poster, either usb port is damaged or contaminated, that is what triggers dock mode after all

Be very gentle, use rubbing alcohol, and whatever you use to clean make sure it is lint free. It may need replacing but that is quite cheap and easy to do,

[Q] How to apply fix for SGS3 'sudden death'

I have just posted a couple of hours ago asking why my new Cyanogenmod 10.2 rom would be freezing, and I think the problem is to do with my eMMC chip. I have one that suffers from the 'sudden death' problem.. So I've posted this in a new thread as it's kinda a different question..
Anyway, Samsung have released a fix, but I can't find any instructions ANYWHERE on how to apply it.
I've found this on the cyanogenmod wiki http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/EMMC_Bugs, but that simply links me to a github repo of the code, with no instructions on how to apply the fix.
Could someone direct me to some instructions, or talk me through how to apply the fix?
Thanks,
Luke
Firstly, Title is misleading. Second. Its not the sudden death chip tat gives u lag. I have the sds chip too and when I ran cm 10.2 I have NO LAG.

Well at the moment, I've only got the initial apps included with Cyanogenmod, and the Google Apps, which I installed through CWM..
I can't even make it into the market to download the eMMC Checker app to see if that is still the problem, as the phone freezes before I'm able to search..

I sure hope not.. Exactly this time last year my phone effectively died.. I woke up one morning and my phone was telling me that I had encryption problems (I had never done anything remotely like encryption on my phone previously), so I had to have my phone sent off, and when I got it back, they said they replaced the motherboard..

It's hard to say exactly when, but it was after having my phone sent off.. I had found that a way to fix it was to reduce the amount of free space on my internal sd card, so I got a dummy file generator app, that nearly filled the sd card, which seemed to stop the problem.. However I am not able to do that now, because the phone freezes before I'm able to search the play store..
I would ring optus (my phone carrier), however now that I've flashed a custom rom, my warranty is void, so they're not going to do anything to help me..

Ok cool, I will have a look at that..
I managed to get into the play store and download the eMMC Brickbug Check app, and it's telling me that it's still a problem, so Cyanogenmod 10.2 doesn't have the fix incorporated into it..
I would still like to find how to apply this kernel patch, as I reckon it will definitely help..
CM 10.2 does indeed have the fix incorporated, the checker only checks if you have the chip that's affected and nothing more. It will not tell you if you have a fix applied

I see.. Then that's a bit more concerning that my phone is still freezing. It doesn't do it as much now though, it seems to have 'settled', and now only freezes every now and then.. But if the fix has been applied, I don't see a reason why my phone would freeze at all :/
