i installed xperia play game launcher on my Xperia P
install succesed but back ground wasnt clear.
i followed :

also i tried Xperia play live wallpaper on my phone LW was just like Launcher background.

maybe, but i dont think its hard to fix!
when i use play livewallpaper i have same problem.
i think if the launcher have a problem with live background it will load a fix wallpaper
at least can some one try it!

I have tried in my Xperia P, but i cant install him, maybe the problem is resolution? If your Xperia have unlocked bootloader maybe isnt possible MAYBE

Download, extract to 4 files + Xperia Play app!
Step2:
Use a root file manager(recommend ES Filemanager).
Put playstationcertified.jar and xperiaplaycertified.jar to system/framework,
and the files com.sony.android.playstationcertified and com.sonyericsson.android.xperiaplaycertified to system/etc/permissions.
And Xperia_Play_Launcher.apk to system/app
Fix permissions rw-r-r for all 5files above when you put them in their locations!
Step3:
Now reboot and ENJOY!
If the app doesnt show up or work...
Boot into CWM and fix permissions then wipe dalvik cache!
Still doesnt work? Wipe the Xperia Play app data!
Myths:
It can improve performance of ROM and free RAM a little, that's beacuse of some comends/scripts.

Hi guys i was wondering if you developers can port the Xperia GX system apps (home..etc) to mdpi devices like XMP I found Xperia GX home launcher and system dump at the Xperia Arc section

yep already has that docomo home apk(launcher)...but the category letters are not aligned anw im downloading the apps of GX now...the launcher in GX is a newer version of Xperia S, according to Arc forum (not DocomoHome)
The only thing that need to port is the systemUI.apk...

It "boost" some special games (Xperia optimized e.g. Muffin Knight, Galaxy on Fire) per scripts from Sony
Result is lil more free Ram for faster Startup and loading for those games.
I had it on my Arc and X10, i found it good for gaming.

Redownload the files, extract 4files from file.rar. Put all these files in their right position, manually give them the permissions RW-R-R. And replace the Play.apk again and put the permissions RW-R-R. If this doesnt work then i have no clue what you could do.

Many, many thanks for this port,i have unlocked bootloader, and absolutely everything works including download music info and fb music likes. This is the best and most complete NXT Walkman port. Many thanks,again .Procedure that i've followed: flash Thilina's Walkman v 7.5,then flash Pranav's Walkman v 6.Delete semc metadata cleanup.apk from system/app and replace it with the one provided in the OP. Flash Media App.zip, wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot.Also Facebook and Picasa pictures are shown in album.PS I'm using stock 587 rom with unlocked bootloader via official way ( Sony Website).

Album doesn´t work and when I'm on wifi, walkman doesn´t work and it says that an app called Dispositivos.apk (i think that in english is Devices.apk) force close. Please could you solve it? I think you have done a very good job, but this bugs couldn't allow us to enjoy this great work. Thanks and sorry for my bad english .

Mate, it's a problem with your rom, because for me everything works perfect, and i'm on unlocked bootloader, stock 587 rom.

I've reinstalled the stock room 2 days ago and i didn't touch nothing of it until I've install this, so i didn't think so. With data trafic my only isue is the album apk, it doesn't start. Could you test all media apps while you're on WiFi please?

Everything is tested with WiFi,i don't use data traffic.Here are some ss...PS: In movies,actually there isn't the movie "Titanic",i just searched info to show that download info is working in Movies as well.

there many version on its upload site...
can u tell me which version (non or xperia-basd-v.) and on which rom u confirmed working? does the wigets work there

Well.. you should choose the right combination for your Rom.
But the launcher is not working atm.

i've download it couple days ago and put it in my JV-EX..
the launcher is almost same as my port,
except my port is lighter in size and have activated original dock bg for mdpi devices..
But sadly, ThilinaC's widgets are not original honami widgets..
They're actually old widgets that have themed to looks like honami widgets though

I dunno, just flash it on my JV-EX and it's works normally (replacing default launcher)..
For stock CM10.1 i only tried my own port and it's working flawlessly too
For people who get any errors please provide logcat,
and please remember that Honami launcher is only for 4.2.2+ !!
4.0- will not parse it, and 4.1x have some missing java codes
I'll check further and will update any informations in this post,

3. Pushed my honami launcher port to system/app via adb
4. Pressed Home button and select Xperia Launcher
