Hey guys,
whenever i recieve a text message, on the lockscreen it says insert-address-token, and then the person who texted me. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? I tried to do a factory data reset and everything, it went away but its back again
I fixed it. Thanks for the help. All I did was install go sms and mark all texts as read. Pretty simple

im running nero 4.1
today i wanted to register my phone on facebook so i can get notifications when i dont have wifi around. (no data plan)
but... i found another problem..
when i try to text someone it keeps saying "sms not sent" and im sure when facebook tries to sent me a conformation code, my phones not getting it either.
what can i do to fix this?
UPDATE: i rebooted, and it works for now, and all my texts i didnt get earlier are here now, but this happens really often, i still need a fix, or solution.
Am pretty sure if you odin back to stock and then flash nero again you wouldn't have this problem..

In my notification menu bar, the a New Voicemail notification will not disappear. There is no clear option for it. I have tried many roms, the only one that got rid of it was CM7, using the clear function. Can anyone help?

Voicemail notifications come from your carrier, not the phone, so there's nothing you can do on the phone to get rid of it. So basically, there's no need to go flashing your phone to try and get rid, despite the fact that you already have!
You could try ringing your voicemail, make sure the message has been listened to (and deleted if relevant), and then maybe check your voicemail settings. Find the notification settings in the menu and see what options you have.

Mind sharing what you did to fix it? I am having an identical problem, and I am beating my head against a wall
I have tried thus far:
- Called it from a land line and left a new message, then deleted it
- Had my carrier reset my voicemail
- Had my carrier remove voicemail service completely
- Power cycled the phone, and pulled the battery
My girlfriend's Photon will not stop receiving texts. It's been receiving the same messages over and over all day and also randomly her bottom soft keys light up for no reason. Any ideas? This happens with Go SMS installed and also with stock messaging and Go NOT installed. Also when Go was installed, notifications on the stock messaging were turned off.
I had that issue...... i would suggest to delete all apps if possible and reinstall. Or back up everything and under settings do a factory reset on it. I thought my issue was a screen capture app that did it. I had the same text come to me freakin 25 times within 4 hours i was pissed.

Okay so whenever I send a message from the stock app it gives me the red! But it sends the message. I usually use go SMS but I like myns message app. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. This has been happening since before i rooted my phone and persists through all sense roms and kernals. Thanks to whomever can help.
I figured it out it was set to high priority under SMS setting if anyone else ever has this. Just set back to normal for the fix.
also when I texted my father my message showed up with the exclamation mark. We are both on warm rom but that isn't the problem. Any help?

Been using my Razr maxx fine for 5 days now, and as of this morning, i am not receiving texts. I can send them, but i am not getting any. I have reset, hard reset, pulled the SIM card, rebooted, everything. the only thing that changed was installation of safestrap, and i know for a fact thats not the issue, because i froze it, rebooted, and tested again, still no texts. Im sure its "service issue" but there needs to be a way to fix it . Anyone know how?
It could be an issue with verizon. Give it a couple of hours or call them and ask. If they say they are unaware of any issue give it a couple of hours anyway. If evwrything was working and u didnt do anything it's not a problem with the phone ...... usually

Did you max your txt capacity in settings. Or delete the ones you have now. Try those two and see if you get txt now

I figured it out. After i rooted, i froze the stock text messages app (i use Chomp SMS). For whatever reason, i was still able to SEND messages, but incoming messages never got to the phone. once i unfroze the stock text app, they came back. So this one was entirely my fault.
