My Phoenix is not texting it just says sending failed...when I use the 4636 code it says gprs disconnected can that be the problem?

you could try rebooting. im thinking it to be an APN setting that didnt get set when you switched to bmobile. its not linking to your data. if your on a stock rom(thou i dont see any reason it wont work on custom rom) you should call bmobile and see if they have a walk thru. good luck and hope this helps.

what are your thoughts about this phone?
is USSD code able to run? (for eg. can you check balance and activate packs by dialing *121#)
i read on forum that this is not supported by photon 4g ?
also check whether wi-fi hotspot works or not?

@ prot0n84 : well actually i configured the APN settings it worked for few minutes but i keep getting error messages that a network problem occurred retry or cancel.
i am not able to use this continuously. Is der some defect in the cell or what?

Don't know if this helps at all, but it is good to occasionally reset your PRL's according to where you live.

I recently bought an international unlocked S3 from Amazon and popped a Straight Talk micro sim into it. Unfortunately, I am only getting EDGE. I've tried all sorts of APN settings but to no avail. Is there a setting I'm missing or anything I can do to get 3G on this phone? Thanks.

For any others with this problem, make sure you have this setting selected: Mobile Networks-> Network Mode-> GSM/WCDMA (auto mode)
Silly me had GSM Only selected.

I know this is an old post, but thanks for posting this solution. I had a big DERP moment when I realized that's what it was, but needed a push in the right direction to figure it out. THANKS! ^_^
Can someone please help me out? I'm using a bell lte SIM card, however, I have no problems getting gsm on Verizon roms (phone doesn't support bell lte). The reason I want a gsm rom is because the verizon roms dont have functioning mms with my provider.
When I use a gsm Rom I get "SIM card not found".when trying to enter my apn settings. Tweaker apn doesn't work either.
What can I do?

I've used viper, nos, and some other gsm roms.
the same here, i work with the lrs 5.0 and i have that issue too. in my specific case the phone works great over 3 and 4 days an then the network gets offline, i need to reset it 3 or 4 times to get again signal any suggest?
I have an att HTC one which I unlocked and got it working with telcel here in Mexico but I cannot connect to my mobile network. Mobile data only says disconnected. I'm still running the stock Rom, rooted and running bulletproof kernel. I verified with telcel and everything is good on their end. Telcel and att use the same bands. Anybody have any ideas? Did you set up the proper APN? In settings - mobile data - access point names?
Also type *#*#4636#*#* into the dialer. Then goto phone information then scroll down and make sure ur settings are set to "gsm/wcdma/lte"

I have an LG Optimus L9. I brought it brand new from T-Mobile. I now have Metro PCS and am trying to use my Meter Pcs sim card in my T-Mobile phone. The SIM Card is cut down but the phone is unlocked but i keep getting a "Your SIM Card does not allow connection to this network" error. Please help. What am i supposed to do? Thank you.

You will need to register the phone on your account with metro pcs. They don't allow you to just switch the sims, the IMEI are linked to your account as well. They will charge you $15 to do this as well unless you call customer support and make a big deal of it. 1-888-8METRO8 Is the number. If it still doesn't work then you probably need to carrier unlock it, not sure if they have a free walk through here on how to do it here. Source: I work for Metro PCS. :fingers-crossed:
