Button backlight on neo v: cm9 - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hello.. how do i remove the backlight for the hardware buttons? I am using official cm9 stable release.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks
Sent from my Neo V

There's a fix documented many times in many threads.
Have a look on fxp thread ( fxp is the official cm maintainer for Xperia devices, the builds he's been releasing for us have been unofficial( as in not cm) versions for testing)

I've tested JS and Revo and CM 7
Now i on my own custom rom which not yet release for everyone !
Well after testing a lot of roms I'm settling for.Ultimate HD.
I'm eagerly waiting for a few features like geo Wi-Fi and lock screen. Too bad Xperia pureness development has stopped...

I'm still on pureness and hope that there will be the one last update to b14 sp2 soon.

Just a reminder, please do not make this into a best ROM thread. It's fine to share what ROM's you're using but if anyone starts talking "what's the best ROM" it'll be closed. Please report the thread if this happens.

For a perfect Jb experience,we DO NEED 3.xx kernel
Or we would still have issues, in one way or another! With due to respect to all Jb Rom devs
And the devs are already working their arse off on it! Still no ETA! Hope they succeed! Then, comes the ram part! Till then,385 is the max possible we can make use of

XPERIA T JB KEYBOARD
Installation:
Reboot to Recovery
Flash zip file
Done
Optional
Do this:
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
If the for some reason the CWM zip didn't work for you or the Keyboard doesn't appear in settings do this:
1. Extract the zip file.
2. Ignore the META-INF folder
3. In the app folder, you'll find textinput-chn.apk (Mandarin Chinese keyboard) and textinput-tng.apk (English keyboard).
4. You can move one or both into /system/app folder with ES File Manager/root explorer/etc. (or even adb)
5. Move lib/libXT9Engine into /system/lib
6. Move usr/xt9 into /system/usr
7. Reboot. If you still don't see the keyboard in your settings, install the apk with your file manager which should work with the libraries installed.

Did you or anyone else try on a 4.1 Rom..(Since this is actually taken from the system dump of T running 4.1 itself,it's kinda weird)
Chinese keyboard didn't show up in "Language & Input"
tested on SEX Ray with CM 10.1 (Mike). Xperia (International) OK, but Chinese keyboard didn't show up in "Language & Input" so cannot choose it. Wiped cache and dalvik cache before install it and tried also reboot twice, no help.
Thanks & regards.
