What I said was that gb drivers wobt work for ics ...or vise versa....
Its needs different framework ....
Try I on your own ...it won't harm your phone if you have boot loader unlocked...

It's not the drivers he's looking for, just the audio files.
Easiest way is to download the ICS ROM, open the .zip file with whatever archive program you want, navigate to the files and push them to your phone using ADB or Root Explorer etc...

yes its possible..!! flash this zip via xrecovery.. its a global equilizer for the phone speaker and headphones..
i bet, the speaker in my x10 is 2x lounder than any x10..
and with custom equalizer settings for headphones, i actually prefer listening music via x10 rather than my ipod..!! its amazing!!

it must be in your app drawer .. an app called DSP MANAGER...
if you cant find it better unrar the zip and install the DSP MANAGER apk file manually.. this way you can know if its installing or not..!!

Will this work on 2.1?
I put the apk on the phone and navigated to it with Astro, says file can't be opened as an apk.
Dsp manager is only for froyo.

extract zip file ull 2 lib file by using root explore copy both the file n paste it in
system/lib.
give a proper permission n reboot..
( Note:- u can make out the difference in PowerAmp, not in stock music player.)

some of the apps which has been from HTC so it doesn't support for SE Xperia's so.
its better to copy few LIB file which r supports Beats sound.

Yeah buddy, it runs by default... yhu notice it pops replace message when installing right???
Sony also support AudioEffectService & also i remove tha ones dat re not necessary to prevent errors/bootloop....!

i think tha Mod is for GB & ICS.......
I wanted to try the walkman player mod but it seems like it isnt working that well, it gives a error saying download info has stopped, i cant find the original music player files and i was hoping if anyone could help me with this because flashing isnt gonna be a good option for me.

Reflash mod...if that doesnt work flash another music mod...or restore ur nandroid backup..u should always make a backup before tryin new mods/themes... :good:

Check the system dump provided by madfysh ! It should have stock music player...and always take a nandroid backup before trying new things if you don't know about it

To all user who make a nandroid backup regularly and don't want to restore the whole backup just only one or some apps take a look at AppExtractor if you dont already know. Very useful app I think.

I found what is allegedly supposed to be the mysterious 4.1.B.1.13 update in the form of a flashable link removed. This is only for the Xperia Mini a.k.a. ST15i a.k.a. Smultron but could somebody (a dev maybe) please verify that this is the real mccoy?
quite a few of the apps in the system/apps are dated from January 2013 so it could very well be but still needs verification...
Downloading, will check it out. Currently it seems somewhat lighter than the original one.
EDIT: On the first look, seems like Walkman and either Bravia Engine 2 or X-Reality are built in, though no modifications are made within the build.prop. All vital apps are there. For any further changes, you will need to install it and check it out. Or someone with the device, who is willing to test it out.

You will have to flash an ICS (stock) compatible kernel since this is a zip, not an ftf

I am on DN3 RC2 and flashed S5 mod its a good rom , and i like to increased sound(as i were using boost sound in all previous roms i flashed). So did good research from XDA. After all decided to find ultra volume. And i noticed high volume after using this gain file. Just replace defaul_gain.conf using root explore.
Steps to use the mod are simple-
Download the attached default_gain.rar file.
Extract and find file default_gain.conf
using a root explorer replace default_gain.conf in the system>etc folder.
Backup your original default_gain.conf file in sd card location in case you want to revert back.
ENJOY Ultra volume (tested on dn3v5 its working )

bro you can do it yourself.. just change volumes to 58 or 59.. remember not more than 60 (it may brick your speakers)

Works fine increasing volume on the 900h. Music is insanely loud now. But messes up the dialer. So basically, can listen to music but can't make or receive calls. Wonder if anyone has a workaround for that
