Market not downloading apps - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi guys. I guess ive screwed up. Am no pro to custom roms and stuff all I can do and always do is root my mobile and use link2sd for extra downloading and delete unnecessary apps like wisepilot and stock demo games.
The issue is with my market it has updated, and I downloaded a number of apps via it this evening. But from the past few hours its not getting started. When trying to download the message appears (starting download) but doesn't. Ive reinstalled the googleapp via flashtools via rootmanager, reinstalled by the option via link2sd, restored my backup via xrecovery, deleted the cache, but none of these worked. Please help.

[Q] Problem with Market on Eminence ROM

I installed eminence last night, and everything was working fine. The market wasn't updating to the latest version, so I manually installed the latest version from the backup I had done before I installed eminence.
The latest market was then working fine, until I tried to install X10iUser's black market, which then completely removed the market, so I re-installed the market and now it keeps forcing close.
Is there an easy fix, or do I have to re-install eminence and start again from scratch?
Thanks in advance

You should post this in the original forum for that particular ROM. Hopefully, you will get an answer!
Go to file explorer /system/app find marketupdate.apk install from there, then go to manage applications find marketupdate click on it uninstall, works fine for me.

BBC iplayer complete removal? still shows in my apps

hi guys,
i removed the iplayer, tried with root uninstaller, titanium and via the market but after doing so (restarted as well twice), when i go back into my apps, if i go at the very bottom, i see "Not Installed" and it's still there... how to i remove that??
thanks
gabrio
have you tried uninstalling it via settings-applications?
yeah just now and after you do it, it's still in the "not installe" at the bottom of my apps fron the market... really weird...
gab
you have root access so if its still showing up you could find the iplayer apk file in system/app or data/app and delete it.
Its a mistery: I just did a search with root explorer and deleted every instance with word bbc I had and apks saved including some root uninstaller backups I had. Deleted everything, restarted twice but its still there under not installed apps in my apps...maybe it will update in a bit??
I can live with that but its as if its hardwired somewhere else...any other ideas guys???
Tnx
Gabrio

Hmm, In this case ...
BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP all other Apps other than GTALK, keep it safe.
Do following Steps
1) Reboot in to CWM Recovery
2) Do full Wipe of Data and Cache
3) Go to Advanced and Wipe Dalvik Cache
4) Reboot and Then try and Login Again ....
Hope this works ... If worked then
5) Install all missing Apps.
You are ready to go
if not I think Full Flash again from ODIN is the last option
Hmmm ....
Did that but after restoring data of other system apps it again stopped working so got hint that problem is because some other application. Again wiped off and
Kept on restoring some system applications till I figured out which application is causing problem ..
Google framework services is the culprit took couple of hours to find it but now it works

[Q] Serious app problem-Help?

I tried a new ROM and it was bad so I went back to Wolf's Xperia ROM and it installed perfectly.
However Facebook happened to be installed already, but my app list in Android Market/Play Store didn't show anything. So when I try to update it, it says:"Your order is processing, your item will be available in a few minutes" but it never becomes available.
Then I went into a file explorer and manually deleted the Facebook app from System/App and anything related to it. I tried installing from the store again but the same message popped up.
So any help?
Did u maybe try installing apk? (rather than through play)

Play Market doesn't see all installed apps

Hello.
I got an SGS II with LPT firmware.
Most of the apks I installed using ApkInstaller. I downloaded them from Internet, copied to my phone, and installed from phone.
None of them are shown in Play Market. I already tried lots of different methods to fix this with no luck.
Is there any working solution for SGSII? Maybe someone fixed anything similar on their phones?
Those apps are listed as Installed, when I search for them through Market, but they don't even tell me to update them, when installed version is older.
I tried deleting Market Data, cache. Tried deleting finsky.xml, library.db, tried using Marketfix, tried using Titanium PRO...
I have only 1 Google account.
Uninstall them and install through the Play store. What made you think side loaded apps would update correctly?

-If titanium backup market fix cannot solve for you, I'm afraid, but you might have to reinstall them from market.
-Another option is for you to download an app called CHANGED LOG from market. The app is very effective in getting update notification and getting changed log for your installed apps. It makes using using market for the reason you noted above useless.
