I'm afraid that the only solution is to backup your data and perform factory default.

Just curious what were you doing before this message, did you try replacing an app or missing an app?

Hey ppl my market has stopped working, I can download free apps, and still update but for some reason when I try to buy new apps it shows me "an error has occurred please try again" with an ok dialog... and nothing happens. Any ideas ? I've already tried doing the sbf back to stock and wiping all data did not help. Any other bright ideas ?

Hi Everyone,
I have the Motorola Razr XT910 with Android version 2.3.6 (the latest update). I had issues with the signal since last update mid February. So after so many trials to solve the issue, I decided to do a factory resetting yesterday. What happened is the signal became better, but I receive a continuous message whenever I connect to the internet. The message says "Sorry! The process com.motorola.service.main has stopped unexpectedly, please try again." So I have to force close. I tried to search for a solution in the net but no help.
Kindly help me

If you're rooted I would boot into recovery and wipe cache/system etc.
If you're not and don't plan to, then the only thing I think you would be able to do and hope it works would be to format internal storage and remove your SD card, do another factory restore and see if that clears it up.
Otherwise you're probably going to need to root so you have more control over the internal data to wipe and start fresh.
That process that is crashing is a core piece of the operating system. Something got borked along the way for some reason. Don't fret someone here much smarter than myself will be able to help you, just not at 11:30pm at night

Hello Everyone,
This is my mom's phone so there will be no rooting/flashing fixes please.
Whenever I try to open settings and update the phone I get the message stated above. I tried clearing settings cache and data in safe mode and yet the problem persisted and I eventually factory reset the phone, since no answer was present but the problem persists even after the factory reset. This wouldn't be much of a problem but sometimes the phone does not make or receive calls and it will not send or receive messages unless rebooted and since my mom is not tech savy and she does not understand technology at all she is helpless to fix it and loses patience quickly with it.
If anyone has any ideas please do present them. Thank you for your help in advanced.
Use the Kies 3 software from samsung. It will connect and re-program and flash and reset the device to working order again.
www.samsung.com/Kies
Then just connect and go to Tools menu, and select "Upgrade and Initialize"
