Hey all,
Are there any Jellybean ROMs with the facetag working in the Gallery? and also with the Samsung Music App?
Thanks
No existing JB rom will have the samsung features, unless samsung actually releases it
You will need to wait until an official Jellybean rom leaks from Samsung.

Hi guys
I love the Samsung video player, camera, gallery, S Planner and browser... but I really miss MIUI. Do any of you know if it's possible to somehow install these apps (and maybe the rest of the Samsung Apps) on a Samsung based MIUI ROM (or other MIUI ROMs)? I've seen a AOSP/AOKP Jelly Bean ROM with Samsung Apps, but I haven't found any MIUI ROMS.
Any help or tips is highly appreciated.
Thanx - Martin
Funny coincidence... just saw in the changelog for todays release of Galnet MIUI that my prayers have been heard :victory:
Could you please guide if there is any way to get s beam working on non-Sammy based ROMs. My girlfriend and I have both SGS3 phones but we absolutely hate the Samsung ROM look. So I use AOKP ROM that doesn't have any S-Beam.
I was wondering if a developer out there could do a miui Rom based on leaked 4.1.2 galaxy s2 jellybean Rom ??? Or are there already ones or any in progress ?

Why would you care what the base is for any MIUI rom? It's skinned so much they all look the same..
i don't think there are any miui roms based on leaked jellybean rom at the moment..................and i don't think there will be official miui rom based on jellybean till january...............nowadays miui base their roms on official stock firmwares rather than cyanogenmod so they will release the miui rom for s2 couple of weeks after the official jellybean update..........

Because it would be better than an aosp base of jellybean because they are far from fully functional and rather than the official miui base now that's ice cream sandwich it would be jellybean and have Google now

You're confused.
Firstly, Android is a free OS that carriers/developers can use. What your referring to as "newly official released 4.1.2 Jelly Bean" is simply Samsung using a version of Android OS and then adding their software/tweaks to it. They happen to have used v4.1.2 of Android for their latest release.
Latest version of Android is v4.2.1 which is what Cyanogenmod is based on.
CM looks more like real stock Android whereas Samsung rom has a completely different UI experience as it uses its own TouchWiz UI.
If you want to know differences try them.
Hello, I always have new versions of Android on my S2, and with the lollipop update, samsung released new lollipop-based touchwiz. I love touchwiz from the 4.1 update, and the lollipop-based is awersome! Now I'm running WizzedKat rom, and I ask: is there any lollipop based rom with the new touchwiz for s2? THX!

Nope. It's too early for developers to make such rom. Porting touchwiz to lollipop takes effort and is probably hard to do with all of the recent additions to android. You probably need to wait a few more months until someone manages to get it working but right now it's too early to estimate.
well, is anyone working on a touchwiz lolipop rom for s2? i'd love to test i on my s2. great piece of hardware
