Hey guys probably a pretty easy one but I can't find anything. When I go to:
Settings > Lockscreen > Slider Shortcuts
I want to make more positions the Unlock option. How can I do that?
Thanks!
This is not the place to make this question.
You should forward your request to CM team. Not here

Hi,
I would would gladly pay for an App that allows me to access my camera without unlocking, maybe something that works with Widgetlocker perhaps?

What about use a Custom lockscreen? Like the new htc sense one?
Ripple lock / agile lock can do this
Or if your phone has a cm7 rom you can flash it and choose to launch the camera app in Settings > Cyanogenmod Settings > Lockscreen
Another idea,if you are using cm7, is to use lockscreen gestures and set a custom gesture for the camera. I have many different things I can open from the lockscreen.

Go to settings -> Security -> lock screen options and click on shortcuts. There you can't change them to your liking
Does anybody know how I can change my lockscreen wallpaper. I have been looking everywhere and cannot seem to find where to change it.

Open any image file and hard press / keep press that image for 5 secs, you'll get options to set as Wall paper, in that select Lock Screen Wall paper.

Hereticnine.
That doesn't work either, I have no option to select it as my lockscreen wallpaper only the main wallpaper

The long press only works on samsung roms
Does anyone know how. Surely someone else is running cyanogenmod and know how

Lockscreen Background
Did you figure this one out already? I found it in Settings > Lock screen > Background - select "Custom image" and make sure you can browse to one using Gallery or File Manager

Same for me and for a more recent rom.
Is that for cm10 or cm10.1
I know that I'm late to the party, but I have some zedge wallpapers that I wanted to use as my lockscreen only. After much playing around, the only way I could get it to work on my lockscreen only, as to move the image to my gallery, and set it via there. It wouldn't take from my zedge wallpaper folder.
Hi guys,
First of all, i hate the iphone, but there's one thing i admire - the ability to open the camera without unlocking the phone (when a pattern/pin lock is present). I would like this ability within the S3... (rooted obviously)
I know about widget locker, but I don't believe this will allow camera access still without unlocking??
Lots of very capable devs on the S3, was wondering if its a possible mod to create?
Thanks
hello, I also would like it.
Coming from iphone too.
I saw a CyanogenMod 10.1 on a galaxy S2 that allows this. Hope ^^
Go to settings - security and lockscreen - lock screen options - turn on camera quick access..
Rotate the device in lockscreen while touching the screen to launch camera
Hope it helps...

This doesn't allow you to open the camera app without unlocking the phone first. If it did, would be awesome!! Love that motion
Then put shortcut of camera app in lock screen.. Then u wont be unlocking the phone but u will go straight to the camera

Nope this takes me straight to the pattern lock that i must enter, then after i unlock it will open the camera app..
same request here.
the method coming closest to the desired behaviour so far was possible on my previous android phone while using MIUI. there, an application based lock is implemented in the system (not through an additional app). MIUI is currently not an option for me, though, for other reasons.
i prefer my APEX/Raubkatze modified stock ROM.
cheers,
s.
I'm running CM 10.1 and this is definitely possible because I use this feature all the time. When my screen is locked I slide from the right to access the camera. I do not need to put in my pin.
You can add pages or change what they are in the lock screen by first locking your device, then when you see the keypad simply swipe it away. When its moved down just tap and hold an empty space and add a page. Put the camera on one of those pages and its done - use the camera app without unlock.
