Are we playstation certified - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

ASUS just announced that the Transformer Pad and the Infinity are "playstation certified" meaning that you'll be able to play playstation games on them.
Can anyone say if we will get the same treatment with our primes?
It's still supposed to be a hi-end device, although not the flagship any more, still better that it's little brother the "Pad" tf300.

Well I could be wrong but I though they changed the whole line of Transformers to Transformer Pad either Pad or Infinity or Prime after.
So I just assume it was for all the Transformers except the TF101. Could be wrong we will see :good:

i want to buy this tablet

I want to buy the prime but I heard that have a wifi problem and GPS i dont know what to do .
I need your help.
Buy the prime or wait for transformer 3(or other new tablets?)
What to do?
now I have transformer TF101
You should work on your English skills or offer it in multiple languages.
Choose what you want: Transformer 16GB, Transformer 32GB, Transformer Prime 32GB, or Transformer Prime 64GB. Find a store that carries it, online or locally, buy it. There are separate docks for the Transformer and Transformer Prime and you will need the correct dock; the GB's don't matter to the dock.

i am sorry i wrote this from my cell-phone very fast
i want transformer prime 32G but worth it to buy it without the keyboard and sell my first transfomer with keyboard
You should wait bro
think for your self.. why let others tell you want you want and don't want.. won't go far in life if you let everyone tell you what to do..
Now go to work..
The Prime is nice but GPS doesn't work while moving fast. If you like a sturdy metal body then get the TF201. If you want GPS, don't care about metal body and want the higher display then wait and get the TF700 (or whatever it is).
Very easy.
i neeed for home dont for fast moving

Don't by ASUS. Get Samsung GT 10.1 and you will be happy. or better yet get Apple Ipad2 and you will be amazed. ASUS TP has too many issues.

they just have a tablet that hasn't been updated yet. you can update the honeycomb tablet to ICS as soon as you buy it. this is how it was everywhere when it originally came out.

It would be possible but then you have the same issue people had with the GPS dongle. They would think it's ugly. Also it probably wouldn't be very cheap.
As for jelly bean I have no idea.

If you have a Prime with bad WiFi, either exchange it at the store you bought it from or RMA it with Asus. Asus has been pretty good about exchanging Prime's that experience bad WiFi.
There is no point to making a "work-around" product to deal with an issue that only a certain segment of Prime users are experiencing. It is better to just get a Prime that works as it should.

[Q] TF201 dock or TF700t dock?

Hello,
I've had my prime for awhile now and I"m thinking of getting the keyboard dock for it. On Amazon they are selling both the original and the tf700 one and on the tf201 they link to the tf700 saying it's the newer version. The new one claims it's compatible - which one should i get? Are there any major fit issues using a prime in the new dock? I've seen questions/discussions about the reverse (Infinity in a tf201 dock) but couldn't find anything on this.
Thanks,
Brandon

I recently bought the kybd dock for the TF700 the box stated that it would work with both, and it does. It works perfectly with my TF201. So the answer is yes it will work with your TF201.
Dock for tf700 has smaller battery - 19.5Wh vs 22Wh

I have been having a hell of a time tracking down a tf201 dock. I finally found one on an online retailer, but the damn thing doesn't work. I have to send it back and they may not have anymore stock.
Anyway, I am very interested in information about the tf700 dock. I've read that it is either slightly tighter or slightly looser than the tf201 dock (can't remember which). Do you have any comments about this?
Funny this thread just pop'd up I was thinking of the same question. I was going to wait till black friday to hunt one down at a cheaper price but just yesterday tried to buy one of the ASUS Transformer Infinity TF500 / TF700 Mobile Dock - Amethyst Gray. amazon had it for $128.00 but none were in stock and when I made the purchase at that price they cancelled my order stating "they were unaware when they would have more in stock" ???
So I went to Newegg purchased the ASUS TF500-DOCK-GR Docking Station (Compatible w/ TF700T) - Gray, which shipped today but now there out of stock. I guess I snagged the last one. Wondering why Newegg model number is TF500-DOCK-GR? I guess I'll let you know which version it is when I receive it and how well it fits. I'm hoping its the newer version.
Have you received the dock yet? I was trying to find some informations about it but there is nothing on Asus web about tf500t...

See this thread if you are looking for an original TF201 dock. Office Depot still has them and they are $99. I just bought one.

ASUS pushes Android 4.2 to Transformer Pad TF300, makes TF700 users wait

http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/04/TF300-Android-4-2-2/
Transformer Pad TF300 buyers may have had to compromise on screen resolution, but the little slab's software support is second to none -- ASUS just announced that its entry level Transformer Pad will be its first to taste Android 4.2.2. Customers in the United States can grab the Jelly Bean update over the air starting today, while international users will see regional rollouts throughout the month. Own one of the company's higher end slates? Sit tight, ASUS says Android 4.2 should roll out to the Transformer Pad Infinity and other devices in Q2 2013. A wait for the virtuous, to be sure.
Press Release:
Android 4.2 released for the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300
Improvements include enhanced performance, stability and multiple user account logins
Fremont, CA (March 4, 2013) - ASUS is excited to announce Android 4.2 is now available in the US region for the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T. Android 4.2 will be released to Transformer Pad owners via a free over the air update starting today in the United States and will be available in other regions during March. This new version of Android enhances performance and stability, improves the user experience with new features as well as providing multiple user account logins.
The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 is one of the most successful ASUS tablets to date and offers a full notebook PC experience when attached to the innovative mobile dock. ASUS is committed to providing the best customer experience, and is the first manufacturer to receive Android 4.2 for partnered tablets. The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity, ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10", and ASUS MeMO Pad will receive Android 4.2 in Q2.
Does it mean TF201 is no longer receive 4.2? I mean chances is slim.

Sound off your disdain!
God Damn can you people just wait and see. Just because we are not top dog in the Asus lineup anymore doesn't mean they won't get 4.2 to us. Just give it some time and if it doesn't come our way start complaining. Anyway I would think the great DEV's here would be able to port 4.2 to the Prime soon after it's release to the Infinity.

No.. it just means that the TF300 hardware is very similar to Nexus 7, so is natural that TF300 is the first to have the new versions of Android ready for production.
