Ok so flashed bionix v. And then fully drained fully charged then wiped out battery stat.
It says do it 3times tto get the best result. I already did once so on the 2nd ttime do I wipe out the battery stat again or just fully drain and fully charge again?

What I have read and did is after the the wipe is just use your phone till its drained. You already cleaned out the battery memory.

Fully discharging a LiIon battery is the WORST thing you can do to extend it's life. Doing it multiple times in a row deliberately is not a good idea.
The only thing that needs "calibrating" is the phones awareness of what a fully charged state is. Charge the phone fully, wipe battery stats, and get back to using your phone.

Thanks for the info and yea I know about that when I say fully drain I don't really fully drain. I plug in the charger at 1%
But once again thanks

This is completely correct. This is why the proper way to flash a rom is on a complete 100% charge. This way never have to fiddle with the battery stats.

To be further clear on how to keep LiIon batteries healthy, you should charge them at every opportunity. Naturally it's not always convenient to charge just because the battery is getting low, but if it is convenient you should be charging (if lengthening the lifespan of the battery is an important goal).
Everyday, I have my battery charged to 100% in the morning and i bring it to school. I leave my phone in my locker till 3:30 everyday but it every time i take it out, the battery is always drained from 50% and lower.
Should i get a new battery or somthing?

Is BT/Wifi on?
Low reception also causes battery draining.
Nope. and it doesnt happen at home when im also on the wifi..

I have noticed 3G draining battery much faster than wifi. And it will also depend on what applications are running. When you say your battery lasts longer on wifi, its good battery.

What ROM do you have?
Have you reconditioned/recalibrated?
Have you changed the default kernel from the ROM your using? if so, name the kernel
how
how do you reclaibrate..i am using simply arabic rom..i am using kernel 2.4.1
Omg this happened to me!
Im 14, exact same thing happened to me. Just last week though i broke my phone and htey sent me a new vibrant. The battery stays at 91% or more now after school doing nothing with it, when it used to be at like 40%. Maybe it's the new battery IDK, but a huge differance.

Almost everyone does it differently around here, this is what worked for me.
Full charge your battery, wait for it to drain (reach minimum 5% or better yet wait for the phone to turn off), now charge continuously for 100%. Unplug then plug the phone to the charger again (its not yet fully charged) after it reaches 100% this time boot into recovery go to advanced and wipe battery stats.
Try the "spare parts" app, it tells which app is eating your power up.
thats exactly the same thing that happened to me.... so i'd recomend you to flash a new rom TRIGGER once you flash it download a kernel from the vibrant developement and its called TIGERS BLOOD and the rom comes with an app called BATTERY CALIBRATION and just lije they told you.. wait for your fone to be fully charged and open that app and theres goin to be a button that says START CALIBRATING and now when i go to school till i get out my fones battery life its only 73% and i play games in it so if i dudnt play games at all it'd be like 80% or 85% of battery life....

I reccomend a very easy fix which contains two parts. Recondition the battery usin battery calibration app in market. Do this at 0% and 100% be sure to let the phone fully charge and die with no interruption.
Next get setcpu from the market and set it to powersave. Those two things should leave you around 95% battery. ROM shouldnt matter as much with these settings. Also cut off your data, wifi, bluetooth, anything your not using.

The jumps are your fuel gauge resetting on reboot.
Battery stats app on our phones is known to have lots of annoying (but irrelevant) display bugs.
i leave my photon all night charging but when i wake up it only goes to 97%
i have been using the stock rom and now im on peers_'s deblur but both of them are still only showing 97% is there something wrong?
Try calibrating battery .. until it refuses to even blink. Then charge it. Also leaving overnight kills your phone's and its battery life as well. Generally it takes 3-4 hr to full charge using a wall charger and a hour or more from Usb via PC or lappy

Also.. avoid charging phones time to time. Charge only when you need the battery life ..

Do you have a customer recovery on your phone ?? If so you need to charge your battery with the phone off for atleast 4 hours. Boot directly into your recovery and clear Battery stats.. Its under advanced in CWM Recovery Version 2.0.2.7 ( Again the newest CWM does NOT flash the rom correctly so make sure to use the specific recovery per developer ( Jokersax v3 for CM Roms) or download the CWM recovery and down grade one version.
Hello
I am having some serious battery draining issues with ics stock 4.0.4 rooted. I unplugged my phone from the charger and 4 hours later it was on 70%! I have checked if there is some app draining in the background with better battery stats but there is none! What da hell is the problem then? I have set up smart actions so that when I am not home it won't have wifi turned on and keep 3g going and when I am home it will automatically shut down 3g and turn on wifi but it still won't help. Any suggestions? And no I can't use juicedefender because I need my 3g on the whole time.
Some people are getting awesome battery life with ics stock but I can't use the phone without it draining my battery. It will never last even 12 hours.
