Mi problema es que en mi Smartphone tengo la versión ICS 4.0.4 Oficial (La instale yo desde Odin) ... Le instale el rom Manager Premium para actualizar mi CMD y tengo la versión de resurrección remix 3.0.4 (Jelly bean) en la Micro sd (Formato zip), la situación es que al entrar al sistema recovery he intentar instalar dicho rom me sale proceso abortado... Esto también me sucede con todas las versiones anteriores de dicho rom y no se que hacer... Si alguien me pudiese ayudar (Ya que aun soy muy noob en estos temas) para poder actualizar mi S2 a la versión RS 3.0.4 Jelly bean...
Nota: aunque soy SU al iniciar mi celular ya no me sale el triangulo amarillo con el signo "!".

Flash Siyah kernel through Odin and you will be good to go; and don't use ROM Manager, since it's not compatible with i9100.

yo tenia el mismo problema, y lo solucione con el odin flasheando la rom con el cooper 1.0 y la rom para latinoamerica KP7, TE AVISO QUE: no te va a arrancar y va a quedar en bootloader con la insignia de samsung ,pero vos antes lo que vas a hacer es una cpia de seguridad con el CWM 5 y previamente tener en la sd el gingerot como asi tambien el CWM 5. por que?
porque cuando flashees te va a quedar en gingerbread lo unico que te va afuncionar es el modo recovery y no tenes las opciones de backup and restor pero si update zip,entonces los pasos serian así
1)falshear con el odin teniendo en cuenta que tenes que cargarle desde ahi el cooper 1.0 y la rom KP7
2) entrar en modo recovery y roteral con gingeroot
3)instalar el CWM 5 QUE YA LO DEVERIAS TENER EN LA MEMORIA SD!
4)luego de instalar el CWM reiniciar sacar y poner la bateria entrar en modo recovery y ahi si ya tendrias las opciones de backup and restore
5)instalar icecream sunday2 con la opcion istal from sd card reiniciar, sacar y poner la bateria , entrar en modo recoverynuevamente vas al ultimo backup que realizaste lo aplicas y ya esta
recorda que cuando flashees con odin se te va a quedar en modo bootloader con el logo de samsung una y otra vez pero luego de los pasos que te puse recuperarias la banda y podes utilizar al ful icecream sunday aunque a mi me gusta mes themyth es mas eficiente en todo sentido ,las imagenes de donde colocar los archivos del odin y de donde descargarlos te los dejo en el siguiente enlace, se que es un poco onquilombado pero no imposible ...saludos leo de argentina tambien con personal!!!

I had the same problem and solved with flashing the rom odin with cooper rom 1.0 and the Latin American KP7, YOU NOTICE THAT: not going to start and will stay in bootloader with the samsung logo, but you soon what you will do is a security with ARQ CWM 5 and sd previously have on the gingerot as well as the CWM 5. Why?
because when Flash is going to be on gingerbread only thing that is going afuncionar recovery mode and do not have the backup and restore options but if you update zip, then steps would be well
1) the odin falsh considering that you have to charge from there the cooper rom 1.0 and KP7
2) enter recovery mode and with gingeroot roteral

pregunte aca porque ya abia preguntado en el grupo android y se que los de aca so unos de los que mas saven
lo que ise fue intalar la rom atrix ics v2.0 y el ramfixtest después de eso el cel no prendió mas despues me dijeron esto en el grupo android "yo le puse el ramfixtest y ya no quizo prender,, asi que le quite la pila la meti de nuevo, lo prendi, lo puse en modo "Fastboot" y con la aplicacion de "MOTOROLA ATRIX FASTBOOT by Ecstacy42" hice lo siguiente;.. 1.- opcion (16) Borrar todo 2.- opcion (1) Desbloquear Bootloader 3.- opcion (2) Flashear Recovery y listo,,... pude volver hacer los wipes e instalar otra ves la rom pero sin el ramfixtest esta ves,,, y todo bien... asi ya no tienen que instalar el firmware" cuando llege al ultimo paso el de flashear el recobery no termino de cargar y termine prediendo el recobery

O sea, que te quedaste sin recovery? El telefono no arranca?
Lo que flasheaste primero fue una rom o un firmware? (.zip con recovery o con el RSDLite?)

No puede ser el ramfix, quizá se flasheo mal la sbf. Acá todos hablan en ingles, se va a complicar que te puedan ayudar. Proba con la sbf de Ginger o pregunta directamente en grupoandroid porque nuestro Atrix es internacional, acá te van a decir que lo brickeaste.

El lio principal es que el cwm recovery aparece desalineado en la pantalla no se entiende nada, por ende no puedo solucionar otro problema que genere al instalarle una rom de x8 al u20i, y si no instalo una rom correcta no puedo corregir mi error en los recovery, porque tiene como tres el x8toolbox me instalo el recoverydual o algo asi, pero a ninguna se podía ingresar asi que instale el cwm por medio de copia con el rootexplorer
Me estoy desesperando por favor ayuda...

I don't know whether its true, but have you installed a version of CWM recovery which is not meant for your phone?
Building CWM recovery via online recovery builder don't work all times, and there is no guarantee that it would be a stable version for your phone.
Second is, have you installed a ROM meant for X8 to U20i?
(I'm not sure which are these devices, as you didn't provide the name of device)
But taking into consideration, if you install a ROM which is meant for another phone, it simply won't work either.

Estamos en la mismas compañero, mi mujer tiene este mismo teléfono pero desde hace 3 meses no encontramos nada para el. A duras penas he podido hacerlo root, hasta donde se no existe ni una versión compatible de CWM para este modelo. En htcmania encontré una rom, pero no es totalmente compatible con el p708 pues la cámara falla, no la he probado, pero prefiero esperar y no correr riesgos. Hay 3 versiones de la serie L7, el p703, p705 y p708. Así que aguas.
Si llegas a saber de alguna rom, me avisas.

Yo lo intenté con Titanium Backup, hice un respaldo de la cámara y galería pero no se restauraban en CM10 así que sólo queda esperar un ROM ya hecha para nuestro teléfono. :/

instala este programa: Alcatel Mobile Upgrade S 4.1.3, instala la Rom oficial 4.2.2 1002, y lo deja como de fabrica, se instala en 5 horas, espero que te ayude.

Buenas, vi que sugeris instalar la rom oficial ... tenes idea de donde la consigo ? No quiero una rom custom, solo quiero la rom oficial sin todo el bloatware que viene preinstalado de la compañia donde lo compre
