Hi all, for xperia Neo users that running stock ROM..
I want to hear from you all
Is your facebook for Android apps display correctly?
Especially the Notification Panel Arrow, Screenshot attached..
Mine are not, it happened since i'm upgrading to ICS.. Yesterday i just test the official CM9, and the Facebook apps are display correctly here..
Is all of you also experiencing this or only me?

same here.. for all ICS roms I tried,its the same.. facebook bug.

More probably it's the ICS. Facebook works fine on CM7, CM9, GB, etc.

nope..for me,its as I said.. its actually the "facebook-ICS" bug..and its fixed in cm9..yeah.
Me too getting the bug. I reported the problem to fb. You should also do that.
my facebook app sometimes dont even load the news feed,and must bu restared

Hi , I prefer to use "UC Web" to check Facebook from my phone cause of it's very fast to open link and pictures even by EDGE and it's on mobile mode and simple to use without any bug
I have not yet try another ROM except CM9, but at the CM9 the facebook apps working and display correctly.
I don't know how about another ROM..
I have report it's too, but didn't got a reply from facebook..
Maybe I should report it to Sony too XD
btw how about another Xperia 2011 lineup?
is this bug only found at our Neo?

using facebook from a browser is different thing. the bug is in the facebook app. in any browser it works fine.

this bug is in ICS. device, i dont know if it matters or not. but if you are using ICS rom, the bug will be there.

Yes. CM9 have the fix. read the previous comments.
It is app bug, app should be fixed. Switching ROM for app bug is not the solution...

No it isnt problem am using FB and it just fine only prob i have is that FB uses 51MB RAM on KA 22 rom, but it not a big probl couse on this Rom i have 220MB-250MB free ram all the time and wich Rom you are using????

I have had stock rom and it was great but all that bloatware and no OC on stock kernel is forced me to unlock all and go for CM9, but still FB was work fine. did you try to open PC Companion and go to Suport zone and to restore device. Turn of your phone hold menu key and plug usb cable and PC C will ofer you to chose phone find Neo and instal Firmware again that will 99% solve all your problems but damn (BLOATWARE) will there to heheheheh

Please attach the CMDA FIX ? for R800x here since its based on the ICS it should work but... data on 3g doesn't on most roms...
I got a reboot error bug report when locking screen... It's a minor issue .. Will fix that when i am on my desktop in an hour or two..
In Mean Time FLASH Reboot_Fix.zip attached in First Post if you are facing Reboot issues with Lock screen...
will provide cdma fix too...

There can't be any better news... My work is never restricted... It's open sharing...
Xperia Play users have newly got ICS beta from Sony, they all will get fed up of Sony interface within a week ... i know they will look for something like this in the end...

Been testing this for a while . Good light ROM, Deep sleep works, youtube app works, GPS works, SU works. Touchpad works for certain Xperia play optimized games, for others it's reversed (happens to all ICS roms). Games I've tested runs smoothly (shadowgun, samurai 2, N64 emulating zelda ocarina of time, virtua tennis).

Never has any user complained me of slow download or not able to download..
I'm testing this rom three days and it's really great.
The rom is very smooth ... I don't know what but smoother then iriijo MIUI.

Did you do a factory reset + clean dalvik cache before installation ? I don't have any FC at all. I backuped my apps and other settings with my backup.
Factory reset + clean dalvik cache. Installed the rom, restored some apps and settings with miui backup and everything works fine.

The rom should work with the default ics kernel. But can you install cwm wich you need to flash the rom without unlocking the bootloader ?? I ublocked my bootloader long time ago so I din't know it and I dind't use google to find it out
Great rom! very smooth and stable. Using it with latest xray kernel. Only problem is kind of cosmetic. The miui gallery uses another folder for taken pictures than the SEMC camera. So the gallery is empty when opened. Any idea how to change this?

great! the back up and guard app are in english. problem is xperia keyboard force close in this rom. oh no
Theme : I did not change anything at the default theme. so you should be able to go back anytime.
apps : I don't have a problem reinstalling pay apps.
keyboard : Wich apk did you use to install it ? I will try it , maybe I can fix it. I'm using smart keyboard (paid version). It's the only one that has azerty in Dutch It has themes and has T9

Changes:
1. Changed the default language to English.(This rom has one of the best English language conversions..I didnt find any chinese characters anywhere till now..)
2. Added a few build.prop tweaks:
a. increased max heap size to 256
b. 3g tweaks(faster 3g..mine works fine..almost 200kBps download speed)
c. Visual performance is better
d. Lagging has reduced considerably.
e. .......and many more... All the tweaks that I found useful found on androidforums.com and xda itself..

The fonts in the Themes is not working, although Themes are getting applied completely now, I mean, if the mods exist in the theme, they're getting applied everywhere..
I will take a look into the fonts problem now..
Everything else is the same..
My Changes:
Go to Led settings.. I'v added new colors and also some new frequencies for LED flashing..
Also increased the LED brightness.. so the colors look really good!!
Attention!! There was an issue of fonts not working in this rom while applying themes..
If you face the same problem, replace ThemeManager,apk in system/app with this..

hi.. I guess u're applying an incomplete theme.. Try applying a complete theme like N9 Meego and Buuf v4... In these themes, the status bar and everything is themed..

GPS works fine for me... Is it not working for you?
My experience with Maps 5.12 is really good, with GPS and Compass both working perfectly..

Kernel: Everything which can run stock GB
I didn't make changelog because it have only build.prop tweaks and modded apps in this version In next i add something.
what windows phone features are in the rom? only those screenshots?

edit: Even on stock the touch screen is not working!! Help!! I still need this cell phone!!

You try using flashtool and flash stock ROM with wipe data. Or install another custom ROM with wipe system

Did u tried reflashing with tht steps?
And what differences did u notice in 2.2 & 2.3?

Yup Bro..Tried Flashing With The Steps..Even After That The Same Problem Occurred (Force Close Of Settings) Now back To 2.2 From Yesterday Because Of That..
But Used The 2.3 ROM for About A Good 30 to 40 Minutes..In That the ROM is Butter Smooth & Fast, The New CYANOGENMODV12.1 V2.3 As Far As I Used .. Today #Bhushan Bro Gave a Fix For Force Close Of Settings ..So Gonna Flash The ROM Again With The Fix & Test It.. ..

Ok thn i'll flash it as I hate reinstalling all the apps and adjusting settings again n again.
Take A TWRP DATA backup of 2.2 Then...it will work fine..When restoring In 2.3 ..

Fixed it. Just don't use supersu and uc browser.

Last night flashed the ROM with KingRoot Only & Updated KingRoot.. but After Some Reboots (3 to 4 Times) Settings Is Being Force Closed ..Again ..don't Know What's the Problem Is Brother..

The ROM was working Good..but after Some reboots Only it Started To Force Close Again ...So Now Back to 2.2 ..Don't Know What to do..

Did u use uc browser?? Cause mine is working fine after uninstalling uc browser and wiping dalvik cache.

Yes was working. But am back to 2.2 as found it more stable. But launching flipkart force closes systemUI in 2.2 too.

Yeah bro..Actually 2.3 Bug Was Due to The Third Party Browsers .. After the Browsers Installation & Reboot, Settings Force Close & Home Button Not Working ..After Uninstalling those ..everything in working Fine .. Iam back to 2.2 From Yesterday..It's So Stable As u Said.. may hope the next build Will Fix this The Bug..
