For me the "Contacts" now starts faster. Before update it needs 3-4 seconds to start. The LED for SMS doesn´t work. The whole system feels "snappier" for me.
I flash the ftf file with flashtools, did NOT wipe data and NOT wipe cache, after updating and restart let the phone settle down for maybe 10 minutes, then i used the rooting method like before (flash another Kernel, root with Doomlord´s tool and flash back the other kernel) to get root again. Voila. Now everything works fine.

No Service --> No SIM Emergency Call Only --> Rogers
It would take about 5 seconds to get to my carriers name (Rogers).
Now with baseband 77, it goes from:
No Service --> Rogers
in about 2 seconds.
