Does anybody knows how to root HCL ME Y2 tablet?

I could be incorrect, but I guess I have rooted HCL ME Y2 tablet.
I used tool from www dot unlockroot dot.com
then I downloaded Root Checker APK from apklibrary dot net
It says my tablet is rooted. Try this out and let me know if really i have rooted the tablet.

If SU is not installed, or if its malfunctioning, then root is not there.
I have tried all the methods. A few of them worked. Unlockroot works perfectly. I have done it in many y2 tabs. For ant question just send me a pm.

I'm trying to root my me y2 but I can't get my computer to recognise the tab . I downloaded a buch of drivers but none worked is there an easier way please help
I can't even use that tool because I can't get the drivers ....help ?

I'm going to tell you how to root any hcl me tab or any other tab without pc.....
just download vroot.apk .. androidfreeget.com/app/vroot-115444
Click on the first option of the app and then you will get a
percentage meeter at the top...
see at the bottom OF the screen and you will find something written in chineese just click on it....REMEMBER -OPEN THE APP WITH INTERNET CONNECTIVITY....

I have rooted my phone using this procedure
I am not responsible for any damage caused to your phone when following this procedure
I have rooted my device using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31-1
search it on xda if you are unable to find I'll upload it.
Open RunMe.bat the select 1st option which is new standard root

After rebooting you will have root access but no superuser app
install superuser from play store.
Sir my device is not booting after restart beacuse i was edit some tweaks in build.prop please make a build.prop flashing update package for my karbonn A8 i will flash it through recovery

You can do it with framaroot 1.5.3 as I got successful with the same for Intex Cloud X4.

Does towel root and then installing SuperSU before rebooting not work?
Search online kingoroot on Google...may be it could help you. But first install your USB drivers.

hey there lucky.
when using the framaroot app did u try clicking on all the buttons? if boromir didnt work u can try the other buttons and if that doesn't work you can download towelroot by going to its website and clicking the orange logo and you can also try kingroot if those does not work.
