NXT apps on CM9 - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello !
Is there a possibility of installing NXT SMS and phonebook apps on CM9 FW ? I don't like these white stock apps and love NXT's. I tried to replace CM9 apps and installing NXT ones but it is not working. Anybody knows how to achieve that ?
Regards, Joka

You need:root explorer, root, and nxt apps.put those apps in system/app and long press on them.select permission and set to read, write, execute
Read. Execute
Read execute.
Do this to all apps you moved, and then reboot.fingers crossed.

tried it before. Replacing phonebook.app cause FC and messaging app doesn't show in drawer

You might need some framework files for NXT apps to work.
That's how ThilinaC got Walkman to run on CM and AOKP (and MIUI afaik).

anyone knows how to do that ?

Help with theming, please?

So I kind of need help. I wanted to mess around with combining features from my existing arc style framework apk from I think it was J, maybe go3asy, and from the froshedblue. I used root explorer and pasted froshed's apk over the existing one in a bout of frustration and had to reboot because everything was fcing. what I want from froshed is the black menu, the volume dialog, the 'busy' ring animation, the text box border, and the popups on the keyboard and in general(minus the icon style I.e. in the reboot dialog). The rest I want from the arc style framework, including checkboxes, buttons in call screen etc. Ill have a link to the thread soon. Can anyone please help?
EDIT: Ok I have the pngs I want from froshedblue. My problem is, I dont currently have a working computer, not to mention the theme I want stuff from(froshedblue) is made mdpi, and the included framework with Wolfbreak's CM ROM V054 is hdpi. How would I be able to make them work? Because I know its possible, (otherwise froshedblue would not be able to work, being mdpi on our hdpi x10's.) but I don't know how. Can anyone help me, or better yet can anyone teach me how to theme or tell me where to go to learn? Thanks in advance.
From my X10a running Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 V054

To Arc: http://www.mediafire.com/?45e20c8122h2e50
Sent from my X10a running CM 6.1.3 V4.4
Sorry, I was a dummy. I found the thread with the how to, but I still don't have a working computer.
OK, my question now is would it break the framework if I just pasted the pngs in that I want, from froshedblue to tue v054? Is there some xml somewhere that is the reason the mdpi pngs work on the hdpi x10?

which phone do you have? Because if you mean for "theme" a file for Themechooser (.apk) in this forum there are some different, that works welll (you can have icons, menĂ¹, appearance like xperia S style) and works with minicm7.
I have used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652113
the only bug is if you installed only the theme apk (like I'm) that on AlarmClock visualization disappear some part of visualization. This is the only bug that I have found.
I hope that helps.
Check this out! Its Xperia S theme. Not fully compatible to U20i LDPI yet but you can still check it out (subscribe the thread for updates)

[Q] Help Porting a Sony WIdget to Trebuchet

I am looking for help porting a widget from a Sony Xperia Home launcher to Trebuchet in CM 10.2. I have the APK and can decompile it with APK tool, but I'm not sure what I need to modify to to get it recognized as a widget by Trebuchet.
Does anyone know of specific articles related to this? Or, even better, know how to port a Sony widget to Trebuchet?
Thanks.
So the widget I'm trying to install is the Sony WeatherWidget.apk. It seems that it will run on my device, but only if I have the Xperia Home Launcher running. I'd like to get it running with Trebuchet, however, not Xperia Home.
Does anyone know which files I need to replace inside the APK to get Trebuchet to recognize it as a widget? Is it the signature, the resources.arsc, the classes.dex, or the AndroidManifest.xml?

[MOD][PORT]Xperia Z Lockscreen For JB

So I stumbled across this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ide-xperia-z-lockscreen-hdpi-devices-t2189923 and noticed we did not have anything like this for Samsung Galaxy Star. I have successfully ported this to our device. The only rom that I have tested this on is JB Stock Deodex. It probably wont work on other roms.
NOTES FROM ORIGINAL THREAD
This modified android.policy.jar. So please do not try it on other phone models.*If you have other mods in your android.policy.jar, this mod will break it.
*This mod doesn't gives you toggle between Samsung Circle lockscreen and Xperia Z lockscreen. You will get only Xperia Z lockscreen. If you do not know how Xperia Z lockscreen looks like, watch this video prepared by MohammedAzi (included a guide to change lockscreen wallpaper) :*YOUTUBE*Thank you MohamedAzi.
Bugs1) Upon unlocking, Samsung lockscreen's wallpaper is still visible for about 0.3-0.5 second. Solution by JoFury: set fully black wallpaper for samsung lockscreen. Then go to settings - developers option and set windows animation to 0.5 or off. Thanks JoFury.
2) The music control/widget in lockscreen doesn't works with Samsung music player. Install third party apps as workaround.*
3) The music control/widget always show "No Tracks Available". Maybe installing Sony music player would solve it.
4) No shortcut to change Xperia Z lockscreen wallpaper. Workaround:*Solution by RocketSauce83Replace the UxpNxtLockscreen.apk with this version :*http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=39354512Thanks RocketSauce83Solution by Hyperrunner :*http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=38960185Thanks Hyperrunner*

Transform your GT-S5282 to a 85% Sony Xperia device

Requirements:
1. A rooted Samsung Galaxy Star.
2. CWM version 6.
Steps:
1. Install Xperia Pirates ROM. For help go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748747. 80% of job done. Now its time to do small things that really matter.
2. You can install stock Sony Apps (like a Normal apk). Unfortunately I could not make stock phone and messaging app on our phone. Apps are included in attachments.
3. Although the ROM themes the elements, the progress bar is not that Xperia like, so install Smooth system progressbar (Xposed Module).
4. The Lockscreen Remains unchanged, install Xperia lockscreen from this post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687654.
5. What's still missing is the bootanimation, unfortunately I could not find Xperia bootanimation, if you find it, please comment with the link
Some instructions to make the ROM more meaningful and beautiful
1. Change android version to 4.4, because by default it comes with 4.4.2 xperia pirates, but on launching the easter egg, you find 4.4. You can change it by editing build.prop.
2. Keep the font size of the home screen and app drawer at 13.9. you can change it in launcher settings.
3. You can use seeder to reduce lag.
If I have helped, click thanks
