This morning music was playing absolutly fine on my phone, I cant remember but after a reboot, my phone isnt finding any of my music files, though i could play them from my file manager, still they wont appear on any of my music players...I have tried the default player, google's music player and even MixZing player but didnt work...any suggestions guys?
Hi,
I'm on the new Wolfbreakversion and I installed the Google Music App.
It connects with my Google Account and I can choose my songs but if I want to start one the app starts to stream but it isn't playing. First when the download is complete it is playing.
What is my mistake? Or is it a ROM problem?
Hopefully you can help me.
Hello,
Recently I installed Poweramp on my phone (Galaxy S2 Android 2.3.6, rooted). When I used Google Search, and searched for a song, it opend the song in Poweramp. However after a few days my songs were played with the stock Music.apk. I tried reinstalling Poweramp, setting poweramp as the default music player, removing the stock Music.apk.
However, when I removed the stock Music.apk, Google Search couldn't find any songs anymore, so I reinstalled that app. When I'm opening a song in a file explorer, Poweramp is used.
How do I make Google Search use Poweramp instead of the stock Music app? Or does anybody know a search engine that doesn't force Music.app to be used?
Hello,
I've just installed a fresh CM9 and the apollo app wont recognise my music, Ive tried double twist off the market as well as some other music apps but no luck. I've forced the phone to media scan, I've checked every single folder on my phone to find .nomedia files, I have also deleted all the music and put it back on again. Anyone help here? I'm using CM9 with default kernel.

Hello guys, I was hoping you could help me out here. I have a Galaxy Player 4.2 and its music app is better than any other music app I tried. Most importantly, it has folder support which a lot of other music players don't have. I recently bought a new phone and want to use the music app from the galaxy player 4.2 with it. It's not on Google Play and I wasn't able to find an .apk of it. So I was wondering if there is a way to dump the music app from my Galaxy Player to an .apk and install it on my new phone. Or if someone happens to have an .apk ready to install I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I guess that could work but I would use my computer to go into my system folders and look up the apk in the system files and copy it to my desktop. Then I would plug in my other phone and replace the music stock app on that with the galaxy players stock music. I'm not sure if that would work but you can give it a try. Also remember to take the music apk from your other phone and put it in a safe place you know so you don't lose your other phones stock music app.
