(RESOLVED)Stuck at locked bootloader - HTC EVO 3D

Hey guys, I'm not new to Android but I recently got an evo 3d for cheap. Apparently it was unlocked with htcdev. Its for sprint cdma. Anyways, I was trying to install ICS and for some stupid reason I wiped everything then locked the bootloader. I know even I'm ashamed of myself lol! Any way to unlock HBoot 1.50 with fast boot or at least install a ROM? Any help would be appreciated!
I only have access to the locked bootloader and fast boot btw.
Edit: Flashing an old gingerbread stock ruu via fastboot solved my problem

You should never able to unlock it again with HTC dev and then do the wire trick to get s-off.

I did but htcdev doesn't recognize it for some reason. Their instructions required a booted ROM right? I'll try again lol Thanks for the response!

No luck. Downloaded HTC sync and reinstalling drivers etc. But its recognized in fastboot so I doubt that's the problem.

Nvm problem solved. I'm just plain stupid tonight. I appreciate your help!

Help HTC EVO 3d hboot 1.5 miui

Ok, I bought a used EVO 3d that has been rooted. Right now its running miui but I need to flash it back to stock to get it switched to my account. I cannot get it to boot to recovery. He says he used the revolutionary method but when I boot to hboot it says 1.50. Everything I've read says its not possible. Hboot screen reads unlocked, shooter xc ship s-on RL, hboot-1.50.0000, emmc-boot... Do I still have root and what do I need to do to get back stock?

Got it. Please be careful when starting a new thread. :highfive:
Anybody?

To get back to stock, you have to relock the bootloader and then run an ruu. This will put the stock recovery on as well.
Unless you want to lose root, I don't recommend that. What I recommend you do is flash a custom recovery like 4ext our twrp and them flash a stock rooted ROM. Also, getting s-off will make flashing easier.

I was too, but it worked like a charm. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I just got me evo and made a mistake.

I've had my evo for a couple of days now, and I made a rookie mistake. In the excitement over my new phone, I accepted an update. I realized what I did as soon as I did it. From what I've seen, it looks like I can't unlock my bootloader for now, but I was wondering if I can still root. For using root apps, overclocking, etc. any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You can still unlock the bootloader and flash ROMs, the only difference is that the kernel must be flashed separately. Check the regawmod thread for a one click utility to unlock and root
You can still root, check out this thread. Good luck.

[Q] Question about Rooting after Relocked

I originally bought this phone when it first dropped and was able to unlock my bootloader and root my device but i went back to my SIII for a while and gave this one to my girlfriend (huge mistake). I unrooted and relocked the bootloader before giving her the device, of course when the ota's popped up she took it and installed it. I just got the phone back yesterday and it actually looks like the newest ota has also been pushed and installed to the phone. My question is (which is probably a no) since i have rooted and unlocked before can i do it again or am i screwed waiting for a method? Ive spent a better half of my morning searching these threads for an answer but had no luck so im sorry if this has been asked a million times.
Thanks in advance.
Since you already have your unlock token you can unlock like you did the first time.
Really? So I can unlock and root no problem?

Unroot for warranty

Ok guys, I've looked everywhere so don't flame me please, lol. My wife needs to return her phone cuz it won't hardly charge. How do I get back to stock? Meaning, where do I find the stock Rom, how do i do it etc. Thanks in advance for the help.

Even if the phone is rooted. If it's an actual charger port issue then Tmobile would replace it anyways. I think. But first return to STOCK by flashing the RUU. (I would give you a link but I'm sure you will find it faster on your computer then I would on my phone).
I'm never too sure though. I think there is a way to change the bootloader to-day "LOCKED" but idk what it was.

Someone on here made a mod that reset the lock status flag. Maybe that can help.

I'm looking for it. I found this. But it might just be the relocked status
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1647728
Hey have you flashed correct RUU.??
Bcoz many people tried it and it is worked for them very well..
Try again.
No issue of relocked.
Bcoz relock status will be shown if you lock your bootloader through oem lock process.
Try to follow next step...

[Q] New To Unlocking Android and i need help.

So as the title states, im new to Unlocking/Rooting an Android Device, I've read all the Guides posted and found that either they had broken links or were just plain useless. I've managed to use Moonshine to S-Off my device, not really sure what that did, its to my understanding that I still need to Unlock my DNA, can't figure out how to do that.
If you used moonshine then you don't need to it unlocks your bootloader, give you root and s-off just need to flash a custom recovery
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Ohh so, it doesn't need to say unlocked, tampered in my fastboot screen?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Then moonshine didn't work, go to settings software information and look at software number and tell me what it is

Moonshine removes the lock/unlock display.... only display S-OFF.
