Cpu is often awake! And sometimes it keep waking up which drain battery dramatically even charger won't charge or slow! While i'm off to bed, I've been charging my battery for 5 hours when i woke up it's 20%. I'm on stock and ka speed kernel i even undervolted 75mv!

I would suggest the following: wipe cache and dalvik, flash Advanced stock kernel (build 11 is the best) and test. If the issue persists, look for the app which is draining your battery.
I think it's walkman app! Because i just stop listening to music before going to bed! Maybe it kept cpu to wake continuosly!

To to Settings > Apps > All and disable any app you don't use, especially com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup. There is a bug in Sony's ICS firmware which doesn't let phone sleep properly when Wi-Fi is disable, so keep it enable even thought you are not using it.
For more info check out this thread.

Hi All,
Coming from a iPhone4, I noticed that even overnight when the phone is in standby the % drop in the battery is greater on the SGS3.
I am currently running the Omega V25 ROM and the battery drain when in standby is about 10-13% over 7hrs in standby whilst I am sleeping. I read a few days back on the Omega forum (cannot find it again) one of the users saying how great the battery life was for them...something like 1% drop over a few hours in standby....do you know if there is some trick to get such good performance?
I have used good programs like Juice Defender which brings it back to on par with the iPhone4, but does get a bit annoying sometimes waiting for the network connections to restart. Sometimes it even refuses to restart the network which is VERY annoying. I was wondering if there was something I am missing that can get great battery life (IN STANDBY) without 3 party programs like Juice Defender etc....
Thanks,
Ray

Go offline on Gtalk, Turn off Wifi/mobile data while not in use. Other thing I do is Download CPUspy on Google Play to verify the Cpu Usage.
With power saving mode enabled I loose only 1-2% of battery juice over night. (Mobile data disabled, gsm only mode).

First thing you do is turn off the WIFI or 3G(Mobile data) if you are not using it.

What siyah did you flash? You must flash the kernel for jb leak which is 1.6 and not 1.5.3 because it is for ICS rom. Did you perform wipe cache / wipe dalvik cache?

Hi!
I gotta advise you that juicedefender/other battery defending apps hurt more than it should actually help. Think of it this way, juicedefender is also an app. App=RAM consumption, High RAM consumption=High battery consumption.
Also, flashing a custom kernel can help out. There are tweaks which you can do with custom kernels.
E.G. *Undervolting [if you are a total noob on this, then you might read thoroughly how to do this]
You can have manual settings to low screen brightness, not go to vibrate mode, led notif off, etc. And more importantly, CLOSE APPS THAT RUN IN BACKGROUND Such as: Facebook
You can never really rely that let's say, Person1 is having awesome battery life with KernelX because it depends mainly on your SETTINGS and STANDARD USAGE
I hope this will help you out

Well, I think it happened cause I put 1.5.2 siyah which located at Omega Kitchen...So I need to find siyah 1.6? then go Recovery > wipe cache > wipe dalvik cache? Is that so??

That's the reason why. Yes you can try that. Try to wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing siyah 1.6. If it does not help then the only option you can make is to full wipe and flash again the rom

Here are some tips:
1. Put wi-fi policy to never. It's in wi-fi settings.
2. Disable unnecessary sync (FB, google, email etc)
3. Install custom kernel, like others said.
4. Install better battery stats and find what's causing your phone awake (wake locks)

Whether Juice defender helps or not depends on your usage scenario and the app configuration (it literally has tons of options)
High ram usage equalling high battery coumption is bollocks. Each and every single operating system out there will try to fill the whole ram because it actually SAVES power and makes the device FASTER.

Ram uses the same amount of power whether it is full or empty.
Having it filled with apps saves CPU cycles and therefore battery.

I have to do that too with the semaphore kernel and the devil kernel. So i just dont use it anymore. I believe it worked fine on ICS if I remember right from my use. Maybe its just a JB thing.

This is referred to as the sleep of death (sod). I would get this when I turned on deep idle using the smartass governor. I switched to the interactive governor and it works flawlessly. So try that, it should work, and you should see an improvement in battery life too
Edit: I spoke to soon, I am getting it now even with Interactive governor. It didn't give me any problems until I turned on wifi. This could have something to do with it. Try it anyways and see if it works, I am going to try and narrow down what the issue is.
Edit 2: Ok it seems to be the wifi. You cannot have wifi on and deep idle, it causes sod. I basically turned off wifi, cleared cache and dalvik, rebooted and was able to make it work.

For example, the download manager can be paused, as can the network location service. As a last resort, if your phone is rooted, replace your kernel with a different one, it may not be handling wake lock management very well.

you. guys have to do a wiped clean install from scratch witch means..
do a full wipe/factory reset then go in mount/storage and format system (remember to remount it again afterwards)
then flash rom+gapps - this way you have no leftovers whatsoever!
i have no deep sleep issues done this way or else for that matter
No need to flash anything..
Backup all 3'rd party apps + callogs/sms/settings(no system apps, only data) with titanium backup. Then do a factory reset, now install your backups without data and restore your system data..
The apps u installed the last 10 days, those should be restored with some time difference so u can monitor witch app is causing wake locks..
Alternative is to uninstall the apps u installed the last 10 days,to see if that fixes your wake lock problem..
Ps. Facebook can cause wakelocks
First..what 3rd party apps are?? Then
Did u saw the screen shoot?? U will find a process named audioOut_1 at partial wakelock (plz reverse the screen shoots maybe u can know what is happining)
I excuse u to tell me what my problem is in
Btw this isuee is appeared today and i have uninstalled the recent up. No thing change..no sleep just 8 min throght this isuee

U call this easier ? and u dont even now if it solves the problem, after all this hassle, and then u even say do a factory reset..lol do the fresh install and be sure there's no left overs, thats the only way to exclude possible errors! and by far a lot faster too
then if problem persists, install betterbatterystats 0.92 from market to see whats preventing phone to sleep - but there iset any if u do full wipe!

Hello! I usually get about 2 hours of screen on time on my GS3. After doing some research, i found out that 2 hours is not very good...so I have some questions. Take into account that I have tried to minimalise the us on my GS3 and also watched battery tips and tricks videos and even flashed bestMultitasking fix already.
Is there someway to improve my battery life?
While making this thread, my battery dropped from 36 to 34, using wifi and power saving on...also, my signal is full, so it's not a problem from cellular reception
get checkup of your battery and apart from that also goto settings>battery and see how which activity uses the most battery

It seems that Android OS is killing some of your battery life, this usually only happens when you flash a custom ROM, Id suggest finding out what is killing your battery, download an app called wakelock detector, itll show whats using what
Also, the Greenify app is amazing, it wont let any app you chose to run unless you click it.
You could try turning on your power saving setting, itll slow the phone right down ( thats why i hate touchwiz ) but itll give you an extra 30 minutes of screen on time
Theres always custom Roms and kernels too, Ive got the Illusion Rom which ate up the battery for a day ( every new ROM does this ) and then applied the Googy Max kernel, Im running on 800 mhz with undervolting and still silky smooth
Also, try disabling Google services/ sync and disable Google now, for some reasons they seem to be the issue in most cases
- Jack

This was today's usage...I don't get it. I guess that media server is when I play music through bluetooth in my car. Still, very bad screen on time ...
the factors that affect battery life:
-screen brightness
-bluetooh connection
-wi-fi connection
-gps
-3G/2G connection
-synchronization
-wallpaper
-vibration

Nobody can say without having any information.
Biggest reasons it'd have are:
1. Bad connection, your phone is search for good signal all the time and thus draining battery.
2. One or more of ur apps interrupt deep sleep of ur phone and let it drain battery.
If bad signal is the cause the only thing u can try is flashing another modem. Otherwise a new provider is needed.
If apps are the problem, you'd get greenify and hibernate all apps u don't need to push notifications.
If this problem still persist, download betterbatterystats and check which app or process is stopping deep sleep of your phone.
I don't think I have to mention GPS,wifi, bluetooth and automatic sync should be deactivated right?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Free mobile app
You could also use greenify to close any apps that are still running when your screen is off. Also, you could try using a different kernel such as dorimanx or apolo.
