It would be great if somebody could do this for me. I would do it myself but i am a developer and i just got this phone coming from the vibrant and am still learning about this phone. The reason i would like this to be done is because the h icon is very annoying. I want icons that tell me if i am on 3g/4g. The 3g/4g icons look better anyways.
Only way is if you are rooted and I think you have to also be S=OFF to do Kitchen UOT.

There are some that do actually have the 4G symbol but the rest do differentiate between E, 3G, and H(which is the replacement for 4G). They just wanted something that would show when they are in a 4G location.
So does anybody have a flashback zip for these icons?

What I did was whent to a different thread and found what rom I was. The thread is by "saranhai" and found the systemui.apk that matched the rom I was using than extracted my rom and replaced the two files and zip the file inside the extracted file. Than go to rom manager amd flash the rom without wiping anything if you want all your stuff still. Here are some pics

If you're not rooted you can't do anything. Just root and you can have all the icons you want, I dont see what use xda is to unrooted users anyway.

i thought i was done with trans apps but when pauldiddy gave me this i realized it didnt work on phones running ics so i modified it.
THIS IS FOR ICS ROMS ONLY
instructions
1. first copy and paste the android market from your data/app folder and save on your card. this is just in case this doesnt work for you though it should. if your to cheap to buy root explorer i cant help you.
2. next uninstall the market with titanium backup.
3. flash market in recovery

Yes I followed the instructions. Copied market app from data/app onto sdcard, uninstalled using tibia, flashed zip in recovery and got repeated force closes when trying to open. Install went fine but I could not get market to work.

I haven't been able to test this on gb. This works on ics using the holo transparent theme.
I'm still waiting for the other guy to respond but it sounds like this doesn't work on gb. Can anyone running gb confirm?

Honestly I think a lot of people don't know about it. Pay it forward and spread the word...I know I waited for such a service for a long time. Also if it ever gives you any problems I have found reinstalling xpose and rebooting usually gets the icons to show.

I'd be willing to try it. I must say though. I'm extremely happy with LG's user interface. I hate HTC Sense and I'm not a huge fan of Samsung TouchWiz either. I think LG got it right.
