Samsung Galaxy Note. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

A while back there were rumors about the Gal Note coming to Sprint.
Can anyone collaborate on this, called Sprint but could not get any info. At one time Sprint had a web page up that showed a web integration feature with a Galaxy product, and that product was clearly a Gal Note. Just wondering if anyone out there in Sprint land can elaborate on this.
TIA,
Pp.

At this point with the Galaxy Note 2 right around the corner I would guess Sprint would get that if they we're going to get anything. Considering the widespread rollout of the galaxy s3 on all the major carriers, I wouldn't be surprised to see the galaxy note 2 coming to Sprint sometime soon.

[Q] Slightly confused about new Vibrant...

I've heard about the new Vibrant 4G, and also the new Galaxy S2. My T-Mobile rep said the new Vibrant 4G was a dual core phone. But everywhere I've looked says its not. However I've heard the GS2 IS a dual core phone. So, are they two different phones? Can anyone help clear this up? Also, anyone know approx. release dates?
I won't be the only one to tell you this but people at T-Mobile don't have a clue! The Vibrant 4G is called the Galaxy S 4G and comes out on Feb 23. It has a 1GHz Hummingbird processor. Not dule-core. The Samsung Galaxy S II has the dule-core processor but will not even be released in the US until later this year.

Thanks for clearing that up! So, I'm guessing if I want to go dual core anytime soon, I'm just going to have to go with the LG Optimus 2X in early March.
Yep u r correct... the Gallaxy S II is one hell of a phone though. Google it and see if you think it is worth the wait.

Here is the Galaxy S II review on Engadget. Looks Nice!

But it's still Samsung. Don't give them any more money. They'll screw that one up like they have the SGS line, with poor support.

I resent that, but truth being told some of us have no clue, we're just people working a job and are trained to use tools to resolve issues. Not all of are all into phones to the extent on this site, truth be told only a handful of us root our phones. Guess who Vibrant users come see. Yeah, it sucks sometimes, but it is what it is.

You REALLY NEED to stop spamming multiple forums with the exact same question. (your other post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24848412)
And why do you insist on asking questions about Sprint in forums for devices that DON'T WORK ON SPRINT?

Who knows and who cares if Sprint or VZW is getting the Galaxy Note? Maybe but I doubt it. Not all the good phones come out on multiple carriers. If you want the Note that bad jump ship to AT&T. And for the life of me I cannot understand why these petitons about bringing the Note to Sprint and VZW keep popping up online cause Sprint or VZW cannot make Samsung let them sell their product, Samsung like all other manufactures of products decide who will sell their product and where it will be sold. People may be able to get banks to stop charging fees for things that were once free or netflix to stop doing their dumb routine by making a petition but they will never be able to influence a company like Samsung to do anything they haven't already planned on doing. You should know that already by how long it took Apple to sell through other carriers. Companies do what they think are best for them when it comes to their bank accounts and if selling the Note exclusively through AT&T through future deals they may have made with AT&T then thats what they will do. I understant everyone wants stuff they cannot have but give it a rest. For all we know they could start selling the Note sometime in the future but if you need it now go to AT&T and get it. You can get it through amazon for $250 with a 2 year contract plus I still think AT&T is the best carrier even with all their faults.
There have been rumors that the note is indeed pictured on springs let page right now
I will ask my friend over at Samsung if he knows anything

why dont people get it? THE NOTE IS AN AT&T EXCLUSIVE!. so either it will be named something else or you have to wait for the exclusiviness to end.

because it's an AT&T exclusive it can't go on the other networks even if it's named something else until the exclusivity runs out

Why would you think we would have inside information? Especially after spamming this forum? Your screen name is very fitting. You need more life practice.

Guy offering me a trade yes or no?

I have a galaxy s3 32gb tmobile a guy is offering me his galaxy note Att and says that it can be used with tmobile. First of all hows the 4G i live in vegas and he is also adding a mophie juicepack powerstation 6000mah. What do you guys think?
Not worthed. That att note will give you problems on t-mobile
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
is it really that bad?
In theory its a good trade, you'll be happy with the note over the S3. But I have no experience with running it on TMob. I would read the several threads concerning the flashing of TMob radios and the experience of the users to get a feel for how successful you'll be.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
no experience with tmobile but i would not trade ..the note 2 is right around the corner even though it appears that tmobile wont be getting an lte version at first.
OP the choice falls onto you ultimately. Thank You thread closed.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Sprint (SPL-600)

Has anyone heard of the Mega 6.3 coming to Sprint? Engadget posted an "Bluetooth" certification filing with the premise of this being the 6.3 for us Sprint folks. Nothing else has been said since then. PLEASE Sprint don't let us down, we've stuck with you through "wi-max" phase, now give us what we want!!

Over here in Aus we would contact the carrier and ask, does that not work there?
Sprint is very slow to push out phones, unless it's the newest, latest, and greatest. (note 2, s3, s4, htc one, lgO) If we want a larger newer phone.... They give us the Spirit Vital 5in (zte) I'd get a better answer from my doctor then from Sprint.

I was hoping that after the Apple announcement Sprint or Sammy would have a release date. I was hoping it was before Iphone but seeing that the G2 isn't coming out till Oct im guessing after the G2.

Sprint where are you?
I'm disappointed we haven't head anything from Sprint lately.
After T-Mobile announced Jump, and then AT&T and Verizon quickly following up with Edge and Next I thought for sure Sprint would announce something. But so far nothing.
And now, no news on the Note 3, one of the big phone releases of the year.
No recent news on Network Vision
Following completion of the Softbank deal I really expected things would really start to roll. Maybe it's too soon but I'm seriously looking at T-Moble and their Jump program.
I visited a Sprint store today and they were less than knowledgeable about the Note 3. It'll probably land sometime in October, but they didn't know when.
I'm going to jump ship to either T-Mobile or AT&T, though. Probably T-Mobile - Maybe I'll actually get usable data rates
This is annoying the people on sprint chat wont confirm they are even getting the phone!

Tri-Band Sprint Coverage???/
Has anyone been able to verify yet if the new NOTE 3 will be Tri-Band capable on Sprint? (800mhz, 1900mhz, 2600mhz??) I have been purposely waiting for the Note 3 as I expected it to be tri-band for increased coverage with the 800mhz LTE functionality. I have heard on some other sites however that the Note 3 may not have Sprint Tri-Band LTE capability. If this is true, that would be a Note 3 show stopper for me as we need phones that will offer better and faster LTE coverage, not just the single 1900 default. Anyone heard anything yet?

Only thing that I have heard is single band LTE. One of the many reasons that I am jumping ship to T-Mobile. Sprint 4G coverage in my area is little to non existent.
