Best app to sync one way from phone to dropbox?

i've tried dropsync and titanium media backup but they both sync both ways. i ended up losing a bunch of photos because I did a full wipe and sync'd an empty folder.
is there an app that'll just sync one way from my phone to dropbox?

[Q] How to Save Email Attachment Directly to Dropbox

I'm using the stock Email app and can't figure out a way to directly save email attachments to Dropbox.
Right now, to do this, I have to find the file in my Download folder and then save it to Dropbox.
Long press on the file icon doesn't do anything and doesn't seem to be any setting in email that allows this.
Thanks for any help
Unfortunately, I have the same issue, will spend some time today and see if there is a workaround for this... I'll let ya know...
Ok, so I did some checking and setup and downloaded Box.com's mobile app. Basically same principle as Dropbox but under Box's setting on phone there is a checkbox for "enable upload to box everywhere". Once I checked this box, i was able to open an attachment on 4 different e-mail accounts with stock e-mail app and upload straight to Box. If you're not stuck on Dropbox, give this a try. Mobile App = "Box", setup account at Box.net. Hope it helps...
EDIT: Downside is, Box.net doesn't offer a free sync app for windows/mac... You would have to be a paid user... So, guess I will be waiting for Dropbox to include the feature....

Google Drive is live!

Google Docs has been transformed to Google Drive, which is essentially Google's answer to Dropbox and other cloud storage companies. There is an official desktop client , which behaves just like Dropbox. It comes with 5gb of storage; I hadn't looked at any other account options yet, but for my purposes, 5 gigs will suffice. For those of you that have the Google Docs application installed, you'll see it's been updated to reflect the new changes.
Comments? Thoughts? Experiences?
Its just a copy of DropBox without any feature.
They do need to implement the way that google + upload pictures....
I already have 50GB from Box and 5GB from DropBox... too late for it. Of course i have it but i just dont need it right now.
I've been paying $20 a year for storage from Google for couple years. It was an offsite backup for my photos before Google+. Glad I kept paying after + released cause now I have 85GB Drive storage!!
For some reason, I don't like the "sync" feature
I just want to access/edit/save files online only, I don't like the "sync".
I have 3GB of folders/files on Google Drive (used to be 1GB on Google Docs), I don't want to keep syncing 3GB of data to any PC every single time. Yes, I can set to not sync "folder" but not files.
I'm still a Dropbox fan. I've got this, and Microsoft SkyDrive, but I don't really use them. Just going to wait for the dust to settle and see who makes the most compelling product.
Competition is good
Wink
I've been paying for the upgraded SugarSync account and I love it. I'm willing to give this a try, especially since its slightly cheaper and a tad larger for the ugpraded gDrive account.

Box.net will probably serve your purposes pretty nicely. There's no desktop client to sync (unless you're a business customer), so you can just upload to their servers and leave them off your local computer.
There is a file size limit, however. I believe it's only 100MB or something like that.
Make sure you read, understand, and actually accept the Google ToS before you go uploading anything you care about...

Lotus Traveler on Android question

A seemingly simple question but I'll be darned if I can find the answer anywhere on IBM's wiki or anywhere else!
Sprint EVO 4G running Cynogen Mod 7.1 and Lotus Traveler.
I have a large Notes mail file and syncing my mail is a pain. Can anyone tell me where the mail file is locally (on the SD card) and/or what the format/naming convention is? I have tried to look for files modified by date on the card to figure out which one is the mail file. Basically, I want to sync my mail, move the file to a pc for backup and then pare down the server mail database. I have a paid account which gives me mobile access but not remote CLIENT support. I have Notes 8.2 desktop client and really just want to 'move' my old mail to my PC and off the phone and server as it takes forever to sync it to the phone and the storage cost is expensive. The file is about 350 mb on the host server but they don't offer Notes client support for an affordable rate and I would only need to do it once so why spend tons to do it if I don't have to?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Free Dropbox - 50.75GB

Hey There,
I was recently given a free two year promotion for Dropbox and it gave 48 Gigs free, plus the regular amount so in total 50.75 gigs. I have no use for dropbox as I prefer Sugarsync so if anyone wants the account I can update the email address to yours and you can update the name on the account. You wouldn't have to pay for the 50 gigs until 2014.
If anyone wants the account just post in here then PM you email address you'd like me to set the account to.
