I have the same problem. The sliding notification was not supposed on Stock rom so I guess thats probably why. I preferred to not having the feature and the status bar being stable than it crashing if swiped by mistake.

Yup, just tried swipe to remove, got force close
Fixed force close.
Try the this framework.jar
and SytemUI.apk in the first post.
Only these two are enough for Quick Bar and Swipe to remove notification.

Finally Swipe to remove notification worked. Had to reboot after overwriting framework.jar. Good job mate .

i start a development of Xperia T smallapp Mod for all 2011 Xperia phones, for that i decompile Xperia T system apps and jar files and find these thing
1) FramworkRes.apk
in Xperia T framworkres.apk i found two things that relates with small app mod

I add these two permissions in my arc framworkres.apk and also i include the strings.xml and public.xml values for that two permissions
2) Framwork.Jar
Then i find that in framwork.jar file there is a folder that relates to small app i include that folder in my Arc framwork.Jar
this folder comes in classout \ com \ sony \ smallapp
3) System apps
Then i include the all five small apps in my system app folder and TaskSwitcher.apk too with xperia T home.apk
4) SystemUI.apk
Then i come to know that the Xperia T system UI also have externalTaskSwitcher mod inside it and without it it is not possible to have smallapp mod
i try so hard but i not succeed to port xperia T systemUI.apk working on Arc / Arc-S
What i need
A working Xperia T systemUI.apk that support smallapp mod
and if some one any know about more then that info then please share it with me too

Kinda like popup play on the SGS3 but with more useful utilities.

We need the Xperia T SystemUI before we could use the small apps. So essentially, this flashable zip will give you the files needed until the SystemUI is ported.
I do have the Xperia T SystemUI but I'm not at home, so I cant upload it until I get home.

The SystemUI is where the recent app functions are, and the small apps are accessed through the recent apps menu, which is modified by Sony to include their own interface and the small apps.

I installed HaSa MiUI 3.1.11 on top of the Lupus kernel which is my first ICS rom, and I was wondering how to quickly change the input method without going into settings. Long pressing the input box does not bring up a menu anymore but I read that in ICS it was switched to show up in the notification menu, however it isn't showing up. Is there a way to change this in the settings so the notification shows, or is it the Rom I installed?

I got a Xiaomi Mi2 with MIUI 4.1.24 (Android 4.1.1) and decompiled both "famework-res" and "framework-miui-res" but i can't find the files bools.xml.

hey bro, this thread is for xperia 2011 device line so we cant help u really (no experience with xioamis)...
probably they deleted/or send it to other place due to heavy modified MIUI. there are some apps on playstore waht doing this what u want.
if still not happy u will have to search thru the apk's especially in values folder & etc to find if that string is still present somewhere else. but i think they rmoved it

I flashed the new zip, now working fine dialogs , but lock screen when ripple effect + ink effect are enabled is buged now (the screen becomes white, but unlock succsesfully the phone)

Here I present i1 Conversations app with (almost) fully working on ICS
Tested on Xperia U running fw B100, may work on Sola too.
What's working :
- Saving MMS as draft
- Attach image, video, sound, contacts
- MMS sending and receiving
What's not:
- Share location
- Removing attached mms in editor cause fc
Installation :
- Flash Conversation i1 for Xperia Sola OR Conversation i1 for Xperia U through recovery
You can also push manually to /system/app with rw-r--r-- permission
(or) Try to install as normal apk (might work). You need to install Super User Mod for your device first

I don't know if those problems exsisted in Sola. I own Xperia U and haven't got any problems with ui. I use erorcun framework and phonebook port too. I'll remove for Sola if it bugged so much. Thanks for reporting.

Hi all. This app is really great. I love it. There is another bug: the separator that says "Today", "Yesterday",..., as well as the font color is white, which is not very visible in the light grey backgroud of the app.
It would be much better to change it to dark grey for better contrast.

My sincere apologies friend. Works perfect after a data clear.
And I must say, it looks really nice.
Sadly my Internet connection is pretty messed up and won't upload a single thing without crashing. I will try to upload Screenshots when it is up.

Well its fast and such but didnt notice any difference on both, Just one doesnt have autorotation and the another one have it. They keep FCing on boot and I didnt saw anything in White like title says. So can u post a screenshot or changelog to help us?? Thanks master!!!

First images are from home 6.0.2.A.0.8 then the other four are from 6.0.A.0.12. And task window are same on both. Thanks

But im using.12 because it have autorotation and hide dots
And on ss they look the same, both are fast so anyone can pick one of them and be happy xD
